I have had the same issue, and would be greatly interested in the solution. i always thought it was just a hi-cap being a hi-cap, does anyone know of a way to get/make a midcap for the stg 44? or a fix for the safety?

I cocurre that the STG 44 has irratic feed issues but i notice that it is more pronounced with one of my mags than the other. I generally hate Hi caps and would love to convert my mags to midcaps or find available mid or low cap mags.

There is a detailed thread in this forum on how to convert the MP44 hi caps to mids using MP7 AEG mags.

try silicon spray in the magazine and the hop up chamber, it could possibly fix the issue of misfeeding.
