You think I could borrow the camo and assault vest from you? Sam is hopefully going to lend me his AK.

I'll be there along with Sam- sign me up. Don't think I'll be wearing wool in August, so I'm going as Spetsznas.

If I were you, and youre trying to be historically accurate, I wouldn't get the drum mag unless you plan to do a marine impression. Using it on your Thompson would just look bad. No offense.

Does anyone know if the 82nd PIR used drum mags?

I'm not suggesting to do this but this is what I found. I would say most likely they're pathfinders, I don't see any evidence saying that they aren't. i was looking at some airborne picures and found this modded thompson the m1a1 with no stock and a knickle knife on the for grip thompson with the owner holding it Yeh, good luck to anyone using that. Doesn't seem very practical. the same guy with a rigger thompson mag vest(2nd guy in)

Ok, let me get this straight: So basically, I shouldn't camoflauge any of my stuff unless I'm doing an impression that is either on D-Day, or before it. Any other suggestions?

Awesome grenade launcher collection. I knew these existed, but I had never seen them until now. Very cool.

Thanks redjoshman. Where do you suggest I look in order to buy haliphane lamps and marker panels? And, I'm doing 82nd Airborne Pathfinders. I'm going to try to find a Eureka Beacon, but so far, I've had no luck. Again, thanks for the help. -Jack

Does anyone know what other gear Pathfinders used other than painting on camo on to their jump smocks? I'm trying to start work on an impression. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

we received our first 3 casualties from our own tripwires
-I did say for people to stay on the trails and keep an eye out, even though I did set one off myself. Nick and I will do the same thing for the next game, and hopefully no one on the Allies side will be WIA because of them.

I think Hunter and I were the only ones who slept in an actual tent the first night. Also, thanks Gerry for all of your hard work. The game was awesome (even though a rainstorm got predicted), and I look forward to the next one.
