So, an update for anyone interested. As of my last post I have finally completed my USMC Rifleman impression, and am now running it and my Marushin at weekly games (ezcepting the six months I was at basic. The previous one (tool wood grade) I decided to hang up on tje wall, as it has incurred some damages and wear and I decided to make it a wallhanger for its looks, and I have rotated in my Limited Edition with the fixed hammer, and it is still soldiering on. My total number of replaced clips is now at 250, but since they are cheap as Hell via 3d printing this doesnt worry me all that much. In fact, the hardest part now is finding ammo locally. I may have to begin buying from retailers. Further updates will come with continued regular use

What a fabulous resource for those precious few players who have a FUNCTIONING Marushin M1 Garand. after 3 years of use, and loosing hundreds of clips, all I have to say about this topic is maintenance and some creative replacement of parts will keep any gun running. it still hits like a damn tank and never looses it's cool

Mine runs just fine, and I'll take my Marushin over any AEG M1 or conversion any day. Been running mine since 2010 on a regular basis (two games a month, maybe three if my group has an event) and I've only had one part break, and I replaced it with a 6mm nut and a rivet. As far as I am concerned, my M1 has proved it's worth to me, and justifies any repairs I have to do.
