Sorry to ask but, what does PTO stand for?
Outskirts of Paris Skirmish, MI August 25th, 2012 Battle of Belgium- Saline, MI September 21st, 2013 Battle of the Bulge- Perth, NY January 18th, 2014 Operation Overlord- Perth, NY July 26th, 2014 Battle of the Bulge 2- Perth, NY January, 17th, 2015
looking at another forum they mentioned ETO and what was used, then it hit, ETO=europeon theater of operation(or something close) so then PTO must be pacific theater of operations. so ya, this is a pacific themed game
PTO stands for Potatoe Tasting Operations lol nahhhh! Pacific Theatre, Just like MTO stands for Medditerrenian Theatre of operations.

If I remember correctly, the Battle of the Tenaru River involved the Marines hunkering down on one side and mowing down the Japanese in droves as they charged. Sounds like a good time...for the Marines
I spent a summer and fall at Fort Benning once. If the Alabama side is similar, yeah, it could pass for Guadalcanal. I mostly remember the river bottoms being thick as anything and full of bugs.

nearly all of the japanese side will be played by team hellfish members(a number of whom are on here),that are hosting the game.....they know the field and will make it a good time for the newcomers that will be on the US side.....plus the marines will be tasked with patrols and putting out LPs as well during the night portion.....
well....it's still going on at this point....lol..what did you want to know....?....rules and missions are pretty simple....uni regs are too. pics of the field last month......by the end of march it will be greened up and filled out pretty well....as well as having a fair amount of stuff added to it...
lol..sorry.....was thinking the start for around 10:00 am sat and ending it around 2-3 pm sunday....most folks will be rolling in probably fri afternoon or evening..we have plenty of room for camping...where are you coming in from?

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?
Jul 15, 2018 18:47:08 GMT -5
Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.

ajman: I don't think there's gonna be anything in northern New England anytime soon, and as far as I know there hasn't been in a while, but if you're willing to drive to Connecticut there's usually some decent sized battles a couple times a year.
