Hello, there is a local field in NM that I play at that can easily field 50+ participants, and I'd like to have a WWII themed game, but only with enough interest. Depending on the amount interested, the fee wouldn't exceed $20, and though there are no vehicles and such, a BBQ pit could be brought, bring your own frozen foods, or some would be sold, although there are not many hotels nearby (though it's only about 30 minutes out of town), overnight camping would be available, and perhaps with proper interest, we can have a two day event. I don't really want to host a "Tan vs. Green" game, so a bare minimum uniform is necessary. I've hosted many games before, just not a WWII themed one, so getting people to travel the meager distance (mostly looking to target Colorado, Texas, Arizona, [Hopefully California], Oklamhoma, New Veda, the like) is my goal, since there are literally about 2 WWII airsoft players in my area, myself included. Please do keep this in consideration, I plan for past April, as this winter is a little chilly, and plenty of time to think about it and set aside some money . Once I get 20 participants interested, I will move forward with planning, and if I only get a minimum number of interested, perhaps I can change it to a "tan v green" and invite the normal players here (at least 30) and just do semi-autos, no optics, etc, and as lame as that is, at least we can enjoy our own little group of dedicated WWII impressionists

Any luck with positive feedback in the NM area as of yet? There is an area in northern NM that we have games in that could hold 20+ players.

Nope, not really, there was what seemed to be a spark of something at one point (also this really promising event in Arizona that just never happened), seems there is both no interest in the state as well as the distance being to far from other states.
