Hello, there is a local field in NM that I play at that can easily field 50+ participants, and I'd like to have a WWII themed game, but only with enough interest. Depending on the amount interested, the fee wouldn't exceed $20, and though there are no vehicles and such, a BBQ pit could be brought, bring your own frozen foods, or some would be sold, although there are not many hotels nearby (though it's only about 30 minutes out of town), overnight camping would be available, and perhaps with proper interest, we can have a two day event. I don't really want to host a "Tan vs. Green" game, so a bare minimum uniform is necessary. I've hosted many games before, just not a WWII themed one, so getting people to travel the meager distance (mostly looking to target Colorado, Texas, Arizona, [Hopefully California], Oklamhoma, New Veda, the like) is my goal, since there are literally about 2 WWII airsoft players in my area, myself included. Please do keep this in consideration, I plan for past April, as this winter is a little chilly, and plenty of time to think about it and set aside some money . Once I get 20 participants interested, I will move forward with planning, and if I only get a minimum number of interested, perhaps I can change it to a "tan v green" and invite the normal players here (at least 30) and just do semi-autos, no optics, etc, and as lame as that is, at least we can enjoy our own little group of dedicated WWII impressionists

Depending on how long and how large you are going to make it my buddy and I might drop down, were in colorado. depending on how far and how long the game will go on for of course and the rules and continuation, i.e will there be breaks, 24 hour game or just daily, so on and so forth. Try posting around diffent sites and different pages on this site to try and get a good following. good luck

yeah, that sucks. We do mainly PTO, USMC events here, and it's hard to get interest. Everyone wants to be Screaming Eagles and German. Understandable, hard to get Japanese weapons and gear. Like you said, not a strong interest in that area, too bad. Well, just roast up a batch of good Hatch Chili, some home made tortillas and frijoles and think of me, stuck out here in Pepole's Republik of Kalyfornya!!! LOL

Never been to New Mexico. Maybe if you get something together next spring I could justify doing a trip back there. North Africa/Tunisia seems like a good theme.

Well I've been posting around and haven't gotten any interest (probably because there isn't anything interesting here lol) and no one at our fields would dare try "semi-auto only" or "no camouflage"!! Gad-zooks the heresy! But actually where I play an Eastern front or Late Western would be appropriate (with wooded areas and a town) but now that you mention, down south (where it is more dry and hot) that may lead to a potential African/Tunisia campaign, and I have a friend who may can get me some leverage. Let me talk to him, because I REALLY wanna see this happen.

Hey, all I know about Albuquerque I saw on "Breaking Bad." Looked pretty dry and deserty. Keep us posted. Thanks. True, but where my main field is, is up in the mountains ;/ Though I think we could play out near where they shot, however, there are so many irresponsible shooters, would be a matter of time before we REALLY got shot lol. Indeed I will.
