Idk who these guys are but they have the M1 Garand and have done a pretty good review on it including a shooting test.

Nice review...after Chinese New Year... . Thats the only disappointment I see. The gun itself appear somehow a bit too stocky throughout but visually in spite of that im fine with it. It certainly appears to be a solid shooter. I like that he had no trouble firing semi quite quickly although clearly it takes no time at all to blow through the 39 to 42 ready rounds. Spare clips will be a must but thats part of the coolness. I dont know what weight bbs they were shooting but will assume they were .20 gram. Somewhere around 400 fps anymore is where one expects a long rifle that shoots semi only, to fire. I have mine on order so obviously im anxious to get it.

so far this version appears to answer all the needs I have for it. Looking forward to seeing them in the ranks of our unit in the next few months events.

Looks we have a half tooth piston going off what the sector gear looks like.

Wow, that is awesome! I cannot wait for this to be out! Finally the allies will have an all season rifle, no more will rifles be restricted to summer events.

I am stoked that the ICS will be able to compete with the MP44s the Germans always creme us with at the ww2 events.

My ICS is extremely impressive and I am delighted with it. The gun is discussed extensively elsewhere but with regard to FPS mine chrono'd with .20 gram right below 400 fps (consistently in the 380s). I am perfectly thrilled with that as i think it's the sweet spot of not too hard, not too soft for a full on rifle. It shoots as ribbon straight as any airsoft gun i've owned and functions sweetly in the semi auto mode. I have fired well over 2,000 rounds through it (in two weeks time) and am impressed with how predictable, reliable and seamless it is.
The magazines are advertised as 42 rounders but a word to the wise the reality is they are really and viably 30 rounders. I think that is just fine (although i wish spares were less costy) and see this rifle as having a huge impact on the hobby. Can't wait to start seeing more of them on the airsoft fields.

i have now owned this rifle long enough to say it is my all time favorite airsoft gun. I have now put 15,000 rounds through it and it continues to function flawlessly and consistently. It is still chronoing at 380 FPS and still shoots as ribbon straight as ever. The price of spare clips has come down. Although they are still spendier then I would have liked. I tweaked a number of small details to disquise some of the visual aspects I didn't like and am quite pleased with the overall impression which is very very good. I darkened the wood a bit, filled the gap in front gas assembly and painted the metal bits to create a more "aged" look. I notched the stock slightly where the magazines go so pinching and removing them is easier. I Left the somewhat oversized sling hardware although that could easily be changed and I painted the butt plate in such a way as the overly bulky shape is less pronounced.
just as a Garand should, the rifle feels balanced and solid and is a real joy to shoot.

An update here. The ICS is shooting consistently at 415 to 420 w. .20 gram and 380 or so with .25s which I prefer and without realizing it have been using with this gun. the .25 s track much straighter and fly much much further then the .20 s which lose their enertia quicker and don't fly as far. The long barrel and excellent hop up really make this a "reach out and touch someone" gun. Wonderful range and accuracy in a semi automatic gun. It shoots harder and farther then my m14 conversions.

The spare clips (supposedly 42 rounds but really 30-32) have finally come down to a reasonable price. They are listed on Evike now at $14.00 with a 20% discount. That is less then half what they used to be and seems about right. They work as they should, feed consistently well and have proven to be reliable and durable. They are slightly too big for the Garand belt pouches but fit fine in bandoleers and the somewhat larger riggers pouches. With well over 20,000 rounds through my ICS Garand it continues to impress me.

With the discussion about the pending release of the GnG (hopefully true but I'm not holding my breath till it happens) I see there were comments about loseness or wobbliness in one owners ICS Garand. In my case there has never been any wobbliness in my ICS Garand that I have noticed as it feels as solid as a rock. I know there are many who see my unbridled praise for the ICS Garand as a commercial endorsment but truthfully I was so pleased to see a manufacturer finally take the plunge and offer a Garand AEG that I can't help but get behind them. If the GnG is as nice I will be thrilled, if it is better I will be beside myself.
