Usually you can see a variety of sellers of reproduction bayonets on EBAY. Over the years I have bought several. I have bought the rubber bayonets from the Werkshop and the metal fake ones in both the 10 inch and sixteen inch. The rubber ones are quite expensive but the detail is surprisingly good and of course they are rubber so usable from a safety perspective. Typically you have to enlargen the barrel ring and dig out the bayonet lug channel in order to sort of mount them on a rifle but they do work. As rubber they flop around a bit but not horribly. They don't come with a scabbard but do fit in them although there is no functional catch mechanism naturally. Being rubber they stay in the scabbard just fine with friction.
The metal reproductions are visually spot on for a newly issued bayonet but naturally the steel is not of the same quality. They come with the scabbard and have the ordnance bomb and proper markings. As with all reproductions they require a little aging to suit my tastes but of course that is easy. They click right on my 2nd bat Garands although if you have the recruit edition (all molded rifles) you will want to be quite delicate with them if you do so. For the others no worries although I wouldn't want to run the bayonet course with them.
Recently I purchased a new offering with the early war wood handles and am quite impressed with it.

As stated in the post, the rubber werkshop bayonets don't come with a scabbard, i just used an actual scabbard. These replica bayonets often sell on ebay with a scabbard for less than you can buy the rubber bayonet. The fellow who makes the rubber products has very limited runs and the process is very labor intensive so I understand perfectly why he has to price them like he does. With both the rubber bayonets and the metal reproductions you can really enhance their appearance with some custom paint work. I found a spray on paint in assorted metallic shades. (titanium, stainless steel, aluminum etc) that really set these off nicely. They come in a solid, flat black and that really doesn't look quite right.

The 16 inchers are replicated in metal. In rubber it would simply not work. The 10 inch blade tends to be too floppy for my taste the 16 inch length in rubber would be awful.
