The clips have been put through many cycles with my ICS garand and I remain extremely impressed. I have eight of them for my rifle but with the lower cost will probably get a few more. They are promoted as 42 round clips although with extra care while loading I never achieved that. also factor the normal drop of three or four Bbs that are inevitable due the gap between the top of the magazine spring catch and the tappet plate that pushes the BB into the gun chamber. The result is you can count on 30 religiously reliable feeds and occassionally 32 but that is it.
This is fine with me and from a skirmishing perspective seems frankly about right. I did dremel a small thumb and finger groove in the sides of my stock right at the point the clips snap in so removing them is facilitated. Without them in the heat of action changing clips is harder then I like. As with a real Garand the reload phase can be pretty tense.
These clips as discussed elsewhere do fit in the Garnd belt pouches and cotton bandoleers but they are far too snug to be readily avilable. The larger riggers pouches (designed to hold five enblock clips, hold two quite nicely). pockets and GP bags work well also. Given the low quantity produced and the quality of the clips, $14.00 seems very reasonable.
