This website has, well...Rations?Edible at that. reprorations.com/index.htmI don't know how accurate the labels and procedures are but hey, they will fit the part at least if you're nit picky. It would pry add that "in country" feel as some have described(that may be only relevant to Vietnam stuff but you get the point) They appear to have the major countries covered; USA, Germany, Japan, England(Great Britain), and Russia. They also have some Australian, Italian and Canadian rations as well for the not so common reenactors I guess. Anyways, seems cool, they appear to be edible and the base price is pretty cheap, idk the shipping but I think it says they are located somewhere in the US so it can't be that expensive.

Hell it looks like they went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of canned meat and pasta and just swapped labels. C-rats weren't 15oz, they were field tested at 16oz in 1940 then reduced to 12oz before the war started. The K rations however could pass, but if you're going for C-rats I wouldn't waste my money, you can buy the exact same thing these guys are selling at your local grocery store. The cans are wrong and the labels don't look right. Just my .02

Or you could just make your own. Do some research, print labels, try to reproduce the packaging. It's a lot of fun, and a lot more rewarding then paying someone else to do it for you.

I'm not necessarily being picky, just saying why pay shipping on something you can pick up at the store? I eat corned beef hash out off a can all the time, even remove the label and stuff a couple cans in my pack and it only costs me roughly $2 a can depending on the brand. The pasta cans are even cheaper than that though they typically have the tips that peal off.

That is an awesome link! I know this site gets linked all the time, but there is a lot of good info here too- www.dererstezug.com/LandserItems.htmFor the last event I played I also searched Google for period European beer labels and had them at our campsite.
