Did the 11th SS Gebirgsjager ever get hold of pea dot camouflage?
I am going to do that impression with my pea dot gear so I just wanted to know if anyone had some knowledge on their gear. Krupp maybe?

Edit: Yeah, I have always went there but never seemed to read it, lol. It seems that the ss mountain troops used this more than the standard ss!

There were no 11th SS mountaindivision. The 11th SS division was Nordland.

Y'know, Pea Dot wasn't the only type used. I am sure some were able to get some Italian patterns or the Splinter pattern smocks. Just throwin' it on out there.

I want to copy exactly my customised one(except it's olive inside), so thanx... I cut out everything(it will be two layer one, beacuse I plan a wendehose too): I'll make a white bergmütze cover after it, I got detailed photos about original one...

Looks like it's going to be a great DIY! What kind of material are you using?

What kind of material are you using? Some "feldgrau"(color looks damm similar to original) canvas. The material is "jeans-look like" and simple light white canvas... Now I'm sewing the identical parts together(just pro term...) I bought a german HBT pants on evilbay, it was 16 Euro for the impression...

2 pouches on the white side of the coat partly removed, modifyed to pencil holder. White side painted to light olive.
I saw photos about an other one which has the middle pouches removed. I read that some anoraks are painted totally white. In addition I asked from many collectors, and reentractors to... it's OK. Maybe not Nordland... But the aim is any type of gebirgsjager.
