Seems like a good accurate gun, but the mag loading is finicky but you can get used to it. The bolt also doesnt travel the full distance backwards.

I assume you could use a RS scope mount. Not sure how they were attached. I'm guessing they were drilled and tapped to the reciever. Only problem would be the need to bend the bolt handle so it doesnt interefere with the mount.

the new supplier of the mosin to evike is redfire which is real wood and metal, comes with bayonet. on another note, i believe KA has actually bought Redfire or something so yeah. you can find sniper versions abroad but nothing in the us that i know of
