Here is my German Impression so far. Its to the point where its looks ok and is usable but it is certainly not even sub finished. As you can see I have a post-war canteen which I need to replace with a real WWII one. The boots I am using are 1943 US boots with German Gaiters placed over the leather tops. I also need a gas mask canister, a mess tin, and a Stahlhelm. After that I think I will fit into the mainstream acceptable category until I can start getting into the detailed stuff. I probably need a Hair cut but I didn't have time to take one just for some forum photos. Last of all the Kar98 is not mine but one I am working on for a customer. Still working on my impression...a few more bits and bobs to go like a bayonet frog and entrenching tool. but then again perhaps these are impractical for airsoft:    Please forgive the non period glasses. i'm blind as a bat without'em |

Here is my new stuff. The unit I am in does Eastern Front 1941-1942 so here is my semi-early war setup. What I have: -M40 Tunic -M40 Trousers w/ Suspenders -Knit undershirt -EM Buckle and Belt -OS Cap -Jackboots -Soldbuch -Mess kit -Canteen(original) -Bread Bag(postwar) -1940 RC K98 -Tire tube helmet band Need: -M35/40 Stahlhelm -White Soutache on OS cap -Ammo pouches -Gas Mask w/ tin -Gas cape bag -Y-straps -Correct Breadbag -Bayonet with frog   Sorry they are so big! I'm looking for an MP40. Who sells the best gun out there? I'm just getting into A/S from blank fire and would like to get something I won't need to upgrade.

Hi guys,
I noticed that most of the guys don't wear helmets. Is this normal in A/S? In blank fire we require them in the field as we use grenades and mortars. I like the authenticity. Some long hair, and whiskers, but that can be worked out.

   Ok so this is my first ww2 impression. I made the Choice of Major as a rank because I am currently forming a German Team in my area. I also chose it because I have over a decade of airsoft experience and the fact ive led a few teams. I chose Pioneer because by trade I am an engineer. Tank Destruction badge....well between airsoft and paintball for numerous years ive taken out many a vehicle. I know its not historically accurate but I feel it will get the job done. East German Jack boots Repro Tan Water Pattern Pants, Repro Tan Water M43 Tunic ( To my knowledge they did not produce a tan water tunic unless it was perhaps field made) Repro Officers belt Repro Y Straps Repro MP40 pouches Repro Canteen Repro Ration!! Repro A Frame Repro Tan Bread Bag Repro Zelt Repro Oak? Smock Spanish Stalhelm Repro Afrika Korp Hat Post War Gas Can (I will be buying a repro soon) Post War Mess Kit I am still waiting on an A Frame bag, and trying to find a modestly priced C96 Mauser Holster/stock combo. AGM MP40 shimmed, wired to deans, JBU tightbore, systema bucking and aged a little. WE Tech 6 Inch Luger with Snail Mag and Tanaka Stock |
