Hi all, I've been a silent watcher from the UK on these forums for a while now and they are a great source of info, and I enjoy marveling at the awesome custom work from the likes of Schmitty and 2nd Bat. Anyway, I figured it was time I posted some pics, so here are a few of my late war WH panzergrenadier impression taken at a recent skirmish at the Longmoor Camp MOD base in the UK. -snip- boshman, 1st, Welcome to the site! We are very happy you came by, and even happier that you have contributed! Fantastic impression there! and outstanding images as well, exactly what we love to see here. Now that you have broken the ice, please also stop by our meet and greet and introduce yourself Intro SectionSlainte! -G

Here is a pic from Our saturday game. It was my first outing in period gear. It was......COLD. You guys will have to excuse the modern Goretex boots, gloves and nomex hood..but it was 20 degrees when this was taken. The MG34 is my real steel semi and was used for a photo-op before the game. I carried my new AGM MP-40 for actually game play and it worked great. The helmet cover, smock ,tunic and gaiters are from Spearhead Militaria. The Belt, suspenders and MP40 pouches are all IMA. The trousers are from Trident, and I'm not quite sure what they are supposed to be. Oak-B or blurred edge?

Ok Troops- I have gone in and again cleaned up the picture thread to remove the things that are not pictures[/i]. I only went back a couple pages, but I will clean the rest up when I get home. So unless you boot's want un-ending KP duty and no leave passes, you will act accordingly. I also created two new 'Comment' threads for the picture threads for your bla bla bla shenanigans ..... Use 'em!Carry on.

Here's a little update for my set up, as summer closes, I though I could take some pics from my summer outfit. Kitlist stays mainly the same, but by the weather I take the repro jacket of and keep a cool shirt instead. Also added the Oakleaf autumn trousers. Need to find a pair of good lowboots, but still a problem. Not planning to pay 300usd of boots Oh and here is the kitlist, that I forgot from the first post + some more stuff: Head, - M/35 helmet in feldgrau color, Wehrmacht decals and "Oak Leaf"cover. Wehrmacht decals are there because this impression is going to change soon. - Torgue Clothing, - Repro M/40 jacket and trousers (low quality, have to get a better ones) - East German jackboots - "Blurred edge"/white winter parka or Tarnjacke Oakleaf pattern A - Shooting mittens/leather gloves/nothing - Oakleaf Autumn Keilhose (M/42?) Gear, - Y-straps - Belt whit W-SS belt buckle - 2 pieces of rifle ammo pouches - bread bag - Swedish water bottle (need a better one) - Mess tin - Gas mask canister whit gas cape pocket - Shovel carrier whit shovel - Kar98K bayonette holder (Need to get a bayonette on it) - Zeltbahn in Oakleaf summer/fall camouflage weapons, - Kar98K whit leather sling - P38 in my pocket I'm a leftie, so the webbing is kind a mess. Just haven't bothered yet to change the place of anything, but I'll get to it, someday

i hope this may be of interest to some of you heres a video of a ww2 airsoft event in england based loosly on the battle for arhnem , German, british paras, and dutch civillain uniforms my uniforms on at 7:05 minuites in to the video. im the guy checking papers, some guys have cuff titles in the wrong place.. These were used to denote sectionsquad leaders, some guys had a propper cuff title, and an extra one. also some guys played under the looks like rule, as there working on the loadouts, thats wh a couple of aks and ak74s are used as stg44s, but most people have propper period uniforms and weapons a good video, all through, some guys made real effort with the kit. any feedback appriciated thanks to yith, for making the video heres the link video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=7582404253631244346

Looks good. The uniform is a bit baggy and they should have a tighter fit much more than we're usually comfortable with. But seeing how your profile says you're 14, if that's correct then you'll grow into it. Wise future investment if it lasts that long from field use. Mike ** oops...didn't realize there was a separate thread for comments. Sorry. **

There is a comment thread to respond to the pics. So I'll just go ahead and respond to you... Umm, that was a mistake a long time ago... Ordered it far too large. I dont think I'm going to grow any more to tell you the truth... I'm all ready 6 feet tall, 180lbs and I have only grown 1/4th on a inch in the past year. I'm geting a hessen unifrom soon by my next reenacting event in september. I do plan on it fiting correctly. I also need a haircut real bad. I made a apointment with my moms styleist for later next week. Going to get my German cut... LOL

Finally photographic proof that I do have an impression, although this is not my formal one. Uniform and equipment might suggest a soldier from the 2nd SS at the attempt to assist in the break out at the Falaise Gap. Alas I was the only one in period correct uniform at the only public WWII scenario I have seen. The problems with the impression: belt from DDR, since I don't collect items with political insignia. canteen from DDR (you can see the blumentarn cover), it was cheap.

Everybody's favorite mannequin wearing the oakleaf smock I recently got. I will eventually get a picture with me in it but I haven't played Airsoft few months (due to the heat & now monsoon storms).
