Field and game info
DIRECTIONS: The meeting place is my house, in Gillette. On Route 78, exit 40 will get you to Gillette. If you are heading East, when you get off the exit, take a LEFT. Keep going down that road about 3/4 mile, and there will be a church on the corner with a blinking light. Keep going STRAIGHT. If you keep going, about 1/2 mile down, there will be an intersection, with a Sunoco gas station. Turn RIGHT on Valley Road there. Very shortly, on the LEFT side, there will be a stripmall. keep going about 100 feet more, and my house is an Olive drab house on the LEFT side of the road, with a horse stable across from it. You can pull into the driveway or park on the side of the road. We will all meet there, than once everyone is there, we will head to the field.
Times are: get to my house by 10:00 AM if possible, on Saturday. The games should start at no later than 11, and we will end at 4 or 5. I will provide sandwiches there for lunch.
Safety rules: Eye protection should be worn at all times. All guns must be in some sort of bag or case; the town's only rule is that they don't want the guns to be out until we're actually at the deployment area.
Uniform and Impressions
This event is not strict, however, there are some rules.
Allied: any US or British impression, so long as its western front(NO MARINES)
German: any German LW, SS, or Heer impressions allowed.
ALL GUNS MUST BE WW2!!!!!!!! if not, you will be not allowed to participate.
Also, please, no cheesy surplus uniforms, like east german stuff.
To register for the event, just messege me here or email me at panzerfaust60m at yahoo dot com OR call me at 908-626-1345
Any questions, just ask, and Ill clarify it! thanks, and I hope to see some of you there!

If need be, I can always go Partisan and fight for the Germans, especially now that I have my kar98 and mp40!

If need be, I can always go Partisan and fight for the Germans, especially now that I have my kar98 and mp40! Bring those weapons! If I'm there (which looks likely) you won't have to go partisan-- I'll make sure I have an extra uniform and enough spare gear to piece something together for you if it comes to that. Of course it would all depend on whether there are more Allies or Axis. Almost hoping there's a need though-- it would be a welcome change to be fighting alongside the likes of you, rather than against.

Absolutely! Depending on the numbers, I would gladly borrow kit from you! Only thing is, do you have size 11 footwear? If not I can always just use my boots and wear some makeshift gasmachen (botched spelling lol) I am actually hoping to put together a Wehrmact rifleman impression in the future, and use my kar98.

For footwear, you could just use US rough out service boots, with gamaschen

Ok. All I have are Corcorans though. Not too big of a difference.

Looks 90% sure that I'll be there, and 95% that if I am, I'll be bringing another Landser (my brother, an absolute beginner), with a better than 50/50 chance of getting an additional SS-Mann on board. So looking good for 2 or possibly 3 Germans. Will confirm as things get closer.
And Nate, even with the guest I will have sufficient spare kit to get you squared away if need be, and by juggling footwear a bit can get you into some gamaschen, no problem.

No guarantees that I'll be able to make it, but if I am, I'll bring my 1.SS impression and some extra German loaner gear.

Looks good for me, Dean and maybe a couple of others. We really enjoyed the last event. Even though the numbers were small, the fighting was great, really enjoyed ourselves.
Soon as I know my numbers, I'll post it up. On a separate note, I still don't want to lose focus on the promo game at GZA. I really want us to get back to the numbers (30/40) we used to have. Hopefully, the crew that was at GZA last weekend will make the trip to NJ for this one. Really not that far from GZA.

Now looking like a lock for two Landser, with the distinct possibility of a third (SS). German troop concentrations are forming... will the Allies be able to marshall a comparable force?

so eyah, as said, we'll meet at my house first, then carpool up. The field is on some backroads that don't have easy names, so since I'm right off the highway, it's much easier.

Yes, I remember that from last time. I agree it's best to meet up at your home, then off to the field we go. Looking forward to it. Migs
