LOL - $1900 is steep, but so is the 3.5k for a mint Asahi MG34. Ridiculous, except to a collector's point of view - but if one has ever held/fired a Asahi '34 then one gets why they can command such a price (aside from their extreme rarity). One if the nicest, more impressive airsoft guns I've ever fired. I just wish that the Asahi '34 held more than 150 rounds in the can - but it does impress the demand for fire discipline of the highest order:)
Always makes me wonder how the Heer dealt with a gun that fires 1200+ rounds a minute with a 50 round can (obviously, they were fed from alternate sources and I would suspect the can was not used that much).

I like the performance and finish options and it sounds fabulous but I'm afraid it is beyond my budget.

Actually, factoring inflation, the real ones did cost about that much. But did Hitler stop? No...

Unfortunately, none of us are tyrannical dictators so the price point does seem a bit steep.

Shifty is right about the relative production cost. Given the low production numbers for this offering it probably is priced fairly but unfortunately that doesn't change the reality of most of our budget restrictions.
