This will be a somewhat brief after action report from the battle of Lanzareth (axis side) in Jacksonville FL
The first mission was pretty straight foward and was completed pretty quickly. The basic idea was to have the axis (basically all FJ) find their ammo crate before the could use their primary weapons(only one had a sidearm so yea). The groups were split into 2's and set off to find the "crate" and to put it simply 2 of the groups found it rather quickly while another was pinned down by the allies. One of the now armed FJ went off to go support the last group and bring them back to the crate an this was done fairly quickly thus ending the mission.
The second mission was a bit longer and kind of interesting in my opinion, the axis had a spawn point and they had to establish a different base with a field telephone. Unfortunately the allies coincidentally took the hill that was meant to be foward base delaying the movement of the telephone and the wire we had to set up. The allies were quickly dealt with and the telephone was hooked up to the wire and the base was established. We then had to hold the base and repair the line for 30 minutes and if we still had a working line, we won. Well 30 minutes passed and the allies got suppressed and were kept well away from the line. I must say, a polar star mg42 scares away allies just as much a real one did in ww2.
The third mission was more or less the same idea just swapped sides and a different location for the allies to place the telephone and hook up the line. Unfortunately I was out for most of this mission as I had a malfunction with my rifle (2 bb's got jammed badly but i didn't notice until i took it nearly completely apart after the mission). Anyways, back on to the mission the axis did well and cut the wire rather early but the allies repaired it shortly there after. The axis took hold of the larger hill in order to distract and it was rather successful. The allies completely lost focus of their objective and became focused with capturing and holding said hill instead. In the time that they were lured into taking the hill the wire was cut 2-3 more times and from there it was basically lost for the allies. Time was up and another axis victory.
The last mission was rather straight forward for the axis, establish a mg nest and hold it for about an hour. It was towards the end of the day and the allies were only down to about 3 i believe unfortunately due to one leaving and two being rather exhausted or something along those lines so unfortunately the last mission was pretty lopsided and the axis were rather unopposed so it was once again an axis victory.
Overall it was a 6v6 game, axis accomplished all objectives and won the day once again (for florida airsoft, that's 3 games in a row). It was fun, I enjoyed it, the cheating was rather minimal if there was any(none to my knowledge). I believe everybody had fun and thank you Charlienovember for being game admin and setting this up. You can set up your own AAR if you please, don't think any of the allies goes on here really.
