I have been looking around for awhile for a ww2 revolver, and finally found something! It's not marketed as such, but it looks ver close to the model 10. It's the HFC HG131. It's a gas powered revolver that uses shells, but the shells seal surprisingly well to the barrel group and it fires pretty consistently! It has a fixed hopup, but once I figure it out, I'll show how to modify it to an adjustable type. The only downside is that it is a bit underpowered. It shoots around 260-290, ok for a backup pistol for cqb, but if your main gun goes down, you are going to have a heck of a time shooting any distance with this! With the fixed hopup, the average range is about 60ft. Other than that, I like the realism and feel if it, dispite of it being plastic except for the barrel group(it's pretty sturdy for plastic). www.evike.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=30&products_id=41436Btw, the molded piece between the trigger housing and the pistol grip is removable, and it looks much better without it!

Actually in my opinion for airsoft events a pistol should be distinctively less capable then rifles so given the FPS it really sounds about right. When down to just a pistol a player really should be thinking, last ditch, close in, defensive capability. This pistol looks great and I had no idea it was available. Nice find and a pistol I'm going to pick up. How do the shells load? Do you fill each shell individually with gas and a BB? How available and expensive are spare shells?

The shells are the same concept as the Dboys kar98. You load a BB into the front of the shell (it's actually a metal tube shaped like a shell), and then lad them into the drum. Close the drum into the frame, and charge up the bottom of the pistol grip with gas, and shoot! It works with double and single action, and each full charge of gas will last close to 60-70 shots on a warm day. I believe extra shells are available for $10-15? I didn't really check, as I figured that trying to reload with new shells would cause them to get lost anyway (you can simply pop in a new BB in each shell, while they are still in the gun, not realistic but hey! Can't lose them!)

Hmmmm. That's kind of cool. I wonder if the size of the cylinder is correct enough for a quick release speed loader to work. These are kinda cool in they carry extra loaded shells in a rotary holder that should allow you to pop open the cylinder, insert the shells, push a button and the six shells drop smoothly into the cylinder. With a couple of these rotary speed loaders and 12 extra shells player could at least have the minimal firepower needed for close in defense. It all comes down to if the cylinder is spaced and sized like the real pistol and the shells are the right size.
