So I am in my school's annual musical of "Hello Dolly". Everything is going pretty well but the total royalties and costume "debt" Is about $30,000. That's why we sell adds for the programs. Business get noticed and all those programs go out into the community. Our school has a VERY good reputation when it comes to the theatre department and people come from all over the Midwest to see us sometimes. I was wondering if some of you would be willing to pitch in a little and we could get ourselves a bit more noticed. It would be a great way to advertise WWII Airsoft. If you feel like you'd pitch if a few, PM me but make sure you do it soon, the deadline is March 14th... Hope this works out!

I am afraid i kind of have to agree. I could see more mindless outrage then support from the general academic community although if the focus was heavily slanted toward the HISTORY aspect I might be right. I do think the reach of such a program would be extremely regional so it would either support or hurt your local recruiting efforts.
Theater (especially musical theater) is a fabulous activity as it is so collaborative and involves team members with widely diverse talents and skills. Acting, singing, dancing, lighting, music, staging set work and more. My son was very active in musical theater growing up benefitted from it immensely. Little Shop of Horrors, Joesephs Amazing...Peter Pan, Footloose, Anything Goes, Bye Bye Birdy, 42 nd Street, He did them all. His youth director growing up has since won two Tony Awards and several of the young people he performed with are professional broadway actors, and dancers.
