Nice cleanup of ones I figured you knew but were kind enough to leave for others. The only correction I have is D.P. Which may very well have been used for "dual purpose" but the common use in WW2 was for "Displaced Person". Literally millions of people during the war were forced to become homeless, transients and these were called "DPs" I forgot about Displaced Persons. DP may be a modern term. One of the rounds for the 40mm grenade launcher is the M433 HEDP. The DP there is dual purpose. Interesting movie from the early 70's, "Before Winter Comes," about a displaced persons camp at the end of the war, near the Russian zone. David Niven played the British officer in charge and the actor Topol played an Eastern European of shady background who was his interpreter and general fixer.

My father said that during the later stages and especially immediately following the end of war literally millions of people were walking, biking or pushing carts full of their belongings trying to reunite with family members or restart their lives.
