They could put the speed loader in their breadbag and have the pouches for cosmetics...or you could just get d rings and no pouches. It's up to you

I do the same thing with my Redfire, Joe. The speedloader doesnt fit in the pouches, but I put it in my upper tunic pocket, and use the pouches to store small packets of BB's to refill the speedloader.

The speedloader is even longer and like the BAR 10 mags won't fit in the proper Kar 98 pouches. Not a huge deal of course but unfortunate. Though not correct I have ordered six sets of these leather pouches and I will dye them and attach them to my East German pouches. Wrong on top of wrong but suitable for my purposes. The key element here is easy distinguishabilty between sides. In concerns of mags and spped loader not fitting properly in a k98 pouch, is the pouch dimensionally long enough?I know for my IJA kit i had to cut the inner linning to get my vsr 10 mags to fit. Kind of messes with the structure a bit but as long as you aren't squishing it, the pouch should stay relatively boxy

The proper pouch is simply not long enough. These NUMRICH Mauser pouches appear to be a bit boxier in shape so maybe they will be big enough to hold spare BAR 10 mags but we will just have to wait and see.

Hate to sound like a Necroposter, but were the Numrich Mauser Pouches a success? How did they turn out for what you need?

Thats the plan. In Mass and mixed in with folks who are 95% correct the effect I seek will be met. The concept remains, create a credible "US" and "Them" effect. I am not striving for a static, living history display or stitch NAZI impression. Just a case where I can afford to outfit quite a few troops in a fashion where there is no doubt what they depict and when going through the woods both sides know who's, who. The Numrich pouches died nicely and though certainly not perfect look fine for my purposes. The BAR 10 magazines still don't fit in them but small bags of BBs and red kill rags do!
