PPS and Redfire are one in the same. Redfire just manufactures the k98, and PPS distributes it. Both are divisions of KingArms.
I have the RedFire k98 that you are talking about, and I tapped the green gas mag for external supply. It's not worth it's weight in manure in the winter, but in the warmer months, it's been the most accurate and hard hitting gun I own! I reccomend it to all who want an accurate battle rifle for summer months. For me, the ability to churn out fire faster than a springer, due to the lack of any resistance when cocking, is critical. But durring winter months, I would much rather have a reliable springer k98 to work with.

Good point and worth considering. The action is definitely smoother and more authentic with a gas gun and I do like the louder report. I just wish my experiences with gas guns was more positive with regard to durability.

I think the durability of a bolt action gas gun translates well from RS to airsoft. Less moving parts (no parts to cycle the action automatically) to break and wear out, and simple operation means more reliability and less chance that jamming could occur

The G33/40 is one of my favorite WWII rifles. I tried buying the Tanaka one, actually three times, but unfortunately I was too late two of those times and the other time the guy sold it to his friend instead. Eventually I just did a kar98 conversion. I think our best bet is Redfire, they have a gas powered kar98k at about $200 but it has been sold out for a long time. They might be able to do a springer version for a little more (or less). I didn't know PPS made one too, how much did it go for?
EDIT, I didn't read the second page haha. I guess it is King Arms then

How about this then. Not just request a Kar98 springer, but a line of springers for all the WWI/WWII Bolt Actions. Start with the Kar98, Springfield and Mosin, and then get to making Arikasa, Finnish M39, Enfield, etc etc.
This way, if they don't make the Kar98 (and the rest of them) based off the VSR10/BAR10, they should all have similar systems. Easier to produce and easier to make after market upgrade parts for.
I think its also important to make each mag to be able to fit into their respective gun's ammo pouch.
I know this sounds far too ambitious though.

IMO, in order of importance, it should be;
Kar98, Mosin Nagant, Enfield (SMLE or No.4), Arisaka, 1903 and then w/e else

Fair enough. Either way, I was just throwing the idea out there.

Might want to add Garand AEG to that list. I know it's an AEG and has a different operating mechanism, but since we have $100 M14s, a cheap Garand shouldn't be too hard.

I think a 200$ m1 garand with a plastic stock wouldn't be too bad. Realistically, the cyma m14's are closer to 150

we're still waiting on the m1 garand lol and how do you have contact specifically?
Edit; I would rather see them come out with a g43 since nobody else made one and the current stg is cheap enough and good enough for the price.

Exactly- we really don't need any more STGs. What we need are cheap K98 shell-free springers and Garand AEGs. After that, then we can get rarer weapons made.

I've been thinking on this thread a while. I've noticed a trend with scoutthedoggie on his social media and ww2 pics. The ww2 is extremely popular in terms of likes and comments, more than modern stuff. If we could get him to make a video/petition an affordable springer would come soon IMO. Ics I know for a fact has connections with him.
