Hey all! This is my first post and I'm glad to be here. I wanted to create a 442nd loadout. They were assembled in the middle of the war and toured Italy and France (correct me if I'm wrong. I wanted to replicate the loadout of these men, but I don't know what color/ kind of gear they possessed (like m1943 etc.). Please help me out.

When in Italy they would have had wools or HBT uniforms and M41 field jackets and leggings. By the Southern France landings on there would have been an increasing number of them equipped with the OD M43 Field jacket and field trousers. Four of my wifes uncles served in the 442nd. The Movie "Go For Broke" depicts them quite accurately and many of the soldiers in the film were in fact 442nd veterans.

If you want to see good quality repro gear, and examples of what items 2ndBat is talking about, look up AtTheFront.com they have mostly all the items you are looking for, but you can often find good quality gear from other places for cheaper (used repros or originals) Try googling 442nd Infantry Regiment too
Btw, is your name a Led Zeppelin reference?

If you're small enough, originals are still fairly available and quite a bit cheaper than quality reproductions.
