41st Armored Infantry which was attached to the 2nd Armored and wore cammies longer than just about anyone. Love the look. Great job! Tres Manifique!

looks like an early 2nd Bat Garand. Perhaps one that I sold as I shipped a couple dozen into France. The stock augmentation piece adds a lot but I didn't start doing that until much later in the production runs. Contrary to the commonly held belief, friendly fire was commonplace in any war and there is serious doubt that the camo uniforms contributed much to the uniforms being withdrawn. The 41st wore theirs until they rotted off of them and many were still being worn as late as September and October ironically one of the real challenges with the HBT camo was the color quickly faded to an off white.

It was my first custom from a M14 cyma plastic stock and real wood handguard, top cover, and real gas tube. Sandpaper, cutter marks and black polish for the plastic stock.
