I just checked the Armory to see what I have on hand by way of the Carbine magazines and I have decided instead of issuing four or five magazines per carbine at events I am going to issue three per rifle. This means I have extras and in response to dozens upon dozens of inquiries I will agree to sell some. I really don't want to sound elitist but I have no interest in selling individual mags but will sell a box of three for $45.00 shipped here in the US. this marginally covers the time needed to make them. Obviously making your own is the economical choice and I have posted a clear tutorial on how to do it. I have built just over 100 of these and my conversions (with one exception) work flawlessly. Each has been disassembled, cut to a precise length. The inner weight has been cut and reduced in size and reinstalled and the outside has been cosmetically redone to emulate a WW2 magazine covering the post war banana clip outer patterns. I test each individual mag for proper function and each hold 23 to 25 rounds. Three magazines should be enough to support the gun in a skirmish. I will continue this offer until my inventory aligns with the 18 carbines I currently have in the arms room. These converted magazines have held up well and work just as they should. by reducing the number of mags I issue at events perhaps the numbers lost at each event will go down! I love these little carbines and just wish CYMA offered them in a proper early war version. PM me if you wish to buy a box of three! Here are some pictures so you can see my finished products. They fit nicely in carbine pouches. The cut seams should be barely visual but aren't completely invisible. I use a thin resin paste to fill in the old outer lots and cut appropriate new ones. Once sanded and finished I paint them a semi gloss black. They look great in the rifle and feed super. Together with the other simple conversion steps to the M2 Cyma offering they make a great looking prop. Here is one with a replica BC1000 WW2 US Radio. Close up in a conversion. Note the redone L peep sight and improved stock finish on the carbines. For $75.00 more I'll throw in a fully converted beautifully done M1 carbine.

Its nice to receive immediate requests for these magazines and they will be shipped via US Post immediately upon receipt of funds. PayPal is perfectly acceptable. PM me for my PayPal address. IF you decide you want to buy one of my full conversion CYMA Carbines it will include three modified magazines, a replica sling and oiler and will have the following modifications: Bayonet lug removed, L peep site replaced, stock thoroughly refinished a simulated parkerized finish and it will be cleaned internally and tested for proper function but brand new otherwise. $110.00 shipped in the US. You can choose from a lighter or darker stock finish. (Darker is more representative of a WW2 carbine stock.)

Two combat packs of three left ($45.00) and one available rifle. ($110.00). It is tested, cleaned, fully converted to an M1 and works and looks great. Will ship in the original box with three shortened magazines.

Hello,
This is great work. Can you please advise me on:
1. Whether a genuine oiler will fit into the stock to secure a strap on the CYMA carbine? 2. How do you safely remove the bayonet lug? 3. How to obtain the dark look/stain on the plastic stock?
The shortened magazines look much better. I hope you'll make some more!

As you can see in the detailed pictures thay aren't absolute perfection but they do in fact look pretty good and definitely enhance the look of these CYMA replicas. If you want a set of three I do have a few more ready to go.

The marushin m1/m2s have a gas tank(?) inside of each mag, so it wouldnt work unless you fit a gas tank inside each one.

One more reason I have sworn off gas guns. The mags are sooooooo expensive and while i'm sure its not impossible to alter them I wouldn't begin to attempt it. They are problematic enough without modification. Every single gas blow back rifle I have ever bought ate its young within 1,000 rounds. Simply not acceptable for my needs.

Incidently for the folks who inquired about buying some magazines. I get home from my current trip Weds night and then am back on the road for two months. If you genuinely want to order a pack of three or more PM me to make arrangements this week as I will have a one week window to receive funds and get them shipped out. Pay Pal, a money order or Western union all work fine. If you delay past the 9th it wont be till the first of September that I would be able to ship them.

Now that I am home for a solid month and a half I have commenced filling standing requests and getting sold orders shipped. Carbines and spare magazines going out this week. For international buyers be patient as I ship via USPO and sometimes your assorted Customs departments sit on them for a bit. Outside of my control!
These sales leave me with perhaps one more converted carbine that I would be willing to let go! If interested PM me. There were several folks who had expressed interest but I never heard from.

One remaining surplus converted carbine available. Everything that could reasonably be done to make the CYMA post war M2 carbine appear WW2 correct has been done along with a thorough once over to insure optimal performance and function. The stock and handguards are refinished to eliminate the seam and create a more convincing faux wood appearance. Vent holes (two) have been added to the heat shield. The late war bayonet lug has been cut off and refinished. A pseudo oiler and canvas web strap has been added. The "metal" finish is given a mid war parkerized finish, the rear site is redone and three modified, shortened mags are included. Total price is $110.00 shipped in the US. $80.00 with just the one mag.
Obviously doing the mods yourself can save you my modest labor cost and the thread shows just what's involved but if you'd like to spare yourself that time and effort, this is a few! International shipping adds $56.00

I got in another large batch of the m2 banana mags and can produce some more packages of three modified magazines. The price remains $45.00 shipped in the US which compensates me somewhat for the time and materials needed to complete the project. PM ms if you want to order a box.

Once again I am on a prolonged business trip. (One more month on the road) I do however a large batch done up and could have my wife pack and ship some. Shipping to Europe however will be expensive even for such a small package. The least expensive is US Post and it would still probably be 18.00 US. Probably the same cost for six magazines. Hopefully you can source some over there?

I have returned home and got caught up on the domestic sales shipments and will go to the Post Office to price exact cost of shipping three mags to the UK, France, Brazil and New Zealand. I know the amounts will be obscene but USPost represents the cheapest (and no doubt slowest) option.

Actually, my experience a few years ago sending some books to the UK and France was that USPS was pretty fast (considering the distance). Priority Mail goes by air, so it's basically a day to cross the pond. How fast they handle it on the ground is another question.

I paint a grim picture and hope customers will be pleasantly surprised. USPO is usually pretty quick. The issue and delays typically are with the receiving Customs Departments which often delay delivery (especially on airsoft rifles) and I take the hit from impatient clients who are understandably anxious to get what they paid for.
That's the reason so many retailers refuse to sell overseas. The waiting lines and paperwork at the Post Office are frustrating as well.

I have one more "combat pack" of three fully modified shortened M1 Carbine magazines. They all work fine and have the shortened weights installed for added strength and realism. $45.00 for all three shipped in the continental US. Would trade for an M1 Garand belt (real or reproduction)

Due to some recent requests I will do up some more combat packs of three shortened carbine clips. The offer is extended to include the option of adding a two pocket khaki carbine butt pouch for seven dollars more. (I find I now have more than I need.). Hence you can get 3 shortened carbine clips for $45.00 shipped or $52.00 for the clips and a two pocket pouch. Free shipping in the continental US. An earlier picture in this thread shows the pouch.
Since I just did up a bunch more of these I have five sets of three available for sale.

One combat pack on hand. $45.00 shipped $7.00 for a cotton canvas khaki stock pouch (two pocket carbine pouch). Looks awesome on the butt stock, very functional.
