If the shirt is made of HBT, it's a P53 utility shirt, but if it's cotton sateen, it's a P56 utility shirt. Either way, a neat post Korea to really early Vietnam shirt.

Look closely at the fabric weave. Herringbone Twill will be quite destinctive vs a traditional cotton santeen weave. Either way the USMC Shirt is indeed post WW2. The Soviet case appears to me to be a field phone housing. The USMC dress hat is hard to tell since the Marines (unlike the US Army which changed everything uniform related) kept their class A uniforms pretty much the same since WW2. Odds are, like the shirt, the hat is early Vietnam era.
