Hey all, I came across three items I am unsure about and would like some more information, if anyone knows. The first two are: a USMC shirt, of which I don't even know if its WWII or what type it is, and a USMC service cover, which I also do not know when it is from or if it is for officer/enlisted. imgur.com/Jp1GEHL
(It also has painted on/sharpied sleeve PFC insignia; not sure if this was done to entertain the kids of the previous owner or if it actually had a purpose)
This third item is some Soviet WWII-era radio/telephone case, of which I cannot find any specs or information about. The diagram shows it was manufactured in 1945 in Newark, New Jersey, and the writing at the top in Russian shows (roughly) "Telephone apparatus wiring diagram".
Look closely at the fabric weave. Herringbone Twill will be quite destinctive vs a traditional cotton santeen weave. Either way the USMC Shirt is indeed post WW2. The Soviet case appears to me to be a field phone housing. The USMC dress hat is hard to tell since the Marines (unlike the US Army which changed everything uniform related) kept their class A uniforms pretty much the same since WW2. Odds are, like the shirt, the hat is early Vietnam era.
Stalin should have known communism wouldn't work. There were red flags everywhere!"
Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
