I like the artificial aging and details but as a non WW2 weapon I'm a bit mystified as to why its posted here. There certainly was a time (not too long ago) when a vintage weapon such as this would be welcome at WW2 events but those days have passed with the increasingly widespread availablility of period appropriate weapons. We still don't have all the choices we would like but the G3 is too removed from the era to find tself on this site. Leave it here for a few more days for people to admire and then please delete the post.

This is posted in the "Non-WWII Weapons Review and Discussion". Pretty sure this is fair game. I questioned it at first, too.
To be on topic. I had a JG G3 before! I loved it, until I felt the plastic body start creaking.... Not a good thing when I'm diving, crawling, rolling around, etc etc.
Now if JG made them in metal like the Classic Army ones of old....
