new , today been looking at this forum for a while, now became a member
looking to build a G43 rifle from a cyma M14, any help most appreciated.
i can take measurements from an old spec deact G43 that my mate has
will want it firing on semi auto only, so the selector can go, cant be over 500fps though

A project several people have pursued. Some more authentically than others. The CYMA 032 is a great one to use as It is quality built and fully upgradeable.

Springs are usually named by the energy they provide measured in meters per second. Thus 500/3.25=153.846, so an M150 spring should fit your need.
