The MG34 is owned by the old and in the front row. Its Class III, he got it when you could still register class III arms for civilian transfer. The the MG42 on the FAR left is a Post Dealer Sample made by the guy right of the old man. He has a FFL7 and SOT2... We are the "44. Reichs-Grenadier-Division, Hoch und Deutschmeister IR134" from Vienna, Austria. Also, on a side note. I'm not wearing my LB uniform, but the Sturm one. So the skirt and arms are wrong. Other then that its pritty good I think. Thanks for the comment Drew.

Well remember we are a heavy machinegun squad, and as soon as the MGs are ready to Rock , we'll be carrying the Tripods along, as well as about 300 to 400 rounds EACH man.

Thats about how much ammo I carry + my Kar98 ammo on stripers for my own rifle.
And for those of you who havent gotten into hard combat with a MG34, the Bipod sucks. I've had the bipod fall off so many times.

Both photoshoot and editing are by Dog, who is on the board. I supplied myself and the place. Didn't build the dugout though..

those pictures of the dugout and in the foxhole are AWESOME. I know the "juice bottle" grenades aren't authentic, whats the 2nd thing? My god adler and JagerDru, your unit can really lay out the lead! I know if my reenacting unit were to go at it against you guys, there would be one helluva' shootout, but of course us GI's would win

Ha, come to the east coast, the 26th ID will give you a good fight. I believe my co alone owns a 60mm mortar, an 81mm mortar, 2 1919a4 .30 cal's, 1 BAR, 1 m1a1 Bazooka, and an assort of every common small arm avalable to the GI. But this isn't a bragging contest (and if it were, you guys seem to win), so back to stitch-knot-see 'ism's.

Valtteri,
Thank you.....
Those last images are EXACTLY what we had in mind for the "Stitch Knot-See" thread when we started it-
No re-enactors sitting around the camp fire shooting the shi* with beer bottles scattered around, no reflections of current day life in the window.....
Just excellent images that 'take you back in time'
Take note everyone- if the shoe fits, wear it and look to images by Val, Adler, Dog and others for what this thread needs more of.

Not to sound like a big Adler ass kisser but that is the coolest FJ photo I have seen on here man. I like how it captures the slide back and the brass flying really awesome!

And now comes a rare but characteristically sarcastic comment about a posted photo...... I love the pic of the Fallies firing the Howitzer, but the guy off to the right there shouting Feuer![/b] is pointing the wrong damn way....unless he's 'posing' for the camera ....or wanted to be firing toward the photographer As usual great images Adler- ;D

the guy giving the oreder to fire does the same thing everytime we do this event , i keep telling him to point the other way , but his dad is on the stands and he takes the pics so he allways turns so you can see him on the pics , maybe next time i'll get a new guy to be gun comander.

It just looks white on the pic Guinnness , but it's actually light blue with white specs and it was the standard issue shirt for the Luftwaffe.

Well German ( National Socialist ) high Comand believed that the German Armed Forces should look good while fighting , that's why the uniforms where so damn cool looking.

Man, that dugout and those pictures are amazing.
Clearly that dog was fighting for the allies. Those snausages (ha, ironically german) that GI's were issued really paid off.
