In the banner ad that periodically pops up for WW2 collectors the gathering of smiling Germans have their breast eagles on the wrong side! Obviously the negative was reversed for a mirror image print.

I notice that a lot in print ads-- there was a flyer for Roger McGuinn appearing nearby that had a picture of him playing guitar left-handed, with the name "rekcabnekciR" proudly displayed on the headstock.

That's funny! I remember a Vietnam reenactor type telling me I had my recondo patch on the wrong pocket. He insisted photos showed it on the other side. It never occurred to me that the negatives could be reversed. I explained that it was my original unaltered shirt but he wasn't having any of it. He also said a woodland camo zippered sweatshirt i had was post war and in any event Vietnam was too hot for such a thing to be worn. I asked him when the last time he spent a week in the highlands of central Vietnam?
He backed off a little and suggested that since it wasn't the norm it shouldn't be displayed. My early interactions with living history folks were not positive!
