The field has a proshop that is located like 5 minutes away from the field. Alternatively, you can just order some online.

Couple of updates.
There will be a representative at the field who will have supplies for us for purchase. BB's, green gas, etc.
Also, camping will be allowed for Friday night (and Saturday night as well) in the parking lot. And for those who wish to stay for Sunday, the field owner is giving us the option to join his "open play game" on Sunday for a discount rate. exact rate to follow.
For those arriving early and need access to the parking lot, The gate code is 7344
I will be posting event rules and guidelines next week. As of right now, I do not have CO's for either side, but I do have some players in mind.
I am also waiting for some of our regulars to register. If you plan on attending, please register asap. Even if you plan on paying at the field.
thanks for your attention.

Alright, I'm all registered for this. Will join in as an American and bringing with me Garand, 1903, 1911, and BAR (if I fix it in time). I'll also bring my German kit and Kar98 if I need to switch sides to even teams. I'll probably bring a few Carbines as well.
Any loaner stuff that's needed, please let us know what you need and what size you need ASAP so someone can cover you.

Just put in my registration; took a hot minute since the site got blocked at work for a while. Still waiting for my leave to get approved, but barring anything crazy coming up I should make it. I'll bring my Navy medic as usual, but this time I'm gonna roll with a carbine to work on my aim (and reduce weight); I will also pack my German flakhelferen (sp?) impression for good measure, but will need to borrow a weapon if I go German. Side note: I'll be bringing some food to make breakfast and dinner at the campsite; I'm happy to share, though a couple dollars' donation if you partake would be immensely appreciated. (Planning on eggs, bacon, hash browns and fruit for breakfast; bierock casserole and peach cobbler for dinner.) ( insterburger I still owe you a hatchet for wrecking yours)

Updates The following are the standard event rules and guidelines. I will go over these rules at the safety briefing at aprox. 10:00hrs. But I do encourage all to read through in case you have any questions or concerns. I also want to go over a couple of points so we are clear on these. 1) Camping will be allowed for Friday AND Saturday. It is recommended that the campsites be in the parking lot and not in the field of play. I do prefer this as this will avoid any issues with GZA's open play game on Sunday. It will also be nice to have everyone in the same area. Germans can pick one side and the Allies the other if need be. However if you do wish to camp in the field of play, I would like the Germans to set up their camp in the village area and the Allies to camp at High point which is located in the woods. 2) For those arriving early, the code to the cable gate at the parking lot entrance is 7344. 3) Any camp fires must be in well dug out fire pits or the 40gallon drums at the field. No fires will be left unattended and must be extinguished when you go to sleep. 4) A couple of our members have stated that they will be bringing food to the field. It would be nice if you do partake in their generosity, please contribute a couple of dollars for their efforts. 5) As previously stated, GZA has a open play game on Sunday. The owner has told me that he will offer all WW2 players a discounted rate if you wish to stay and play for Sunday. Normal rate is $25.00, I will get the exact price by Saturday. 5) I suggest that all players bring adequate food and water. Try to have field rations you can carry into the AO as we may or may not have a break for lunch. 6) The field owner has assured me that there will be BB's, green gas and other supplies available for purchase at the field.Event Time Line
0830hrs. All players should arrive by this time. 08:30 to 10:00hrs. All players must check in at the registration table for waiver signing, event fees, etc. You should also use this time to gear up and set up your AO. The Germans will be setting up their defenses and the Allies will be moving out their supplies to designated areas. These areas will be explained by each sides CO's 10:00hrs: Safety briefing. 10:15hrs: Rules briefing. 10:30hrs: Co's briefing 10:40hrs: Players move out to AO's 11:00hrs: Game On. Event Rules
What determines a "Hit"? A hit on a player is when any part of the body is hit by a fired BB. This includes any ricochet that may hit you. What do you do when your hit: A dramatic fall to the ground while calling out "Hit" always works best. Once you've finished your "you got me scene" what comes next depends on your wound status. (See medic rules) What about grenade kills? There are two kinds of grenade kills because there are usually two kinds of grenades brought to the events. Non-exploding "dummy" grenades and Exploding grenades. Any "dummy" grenade landing within a unimpeded 10' radius, all within that radius is now DEAD. No wounded, just dead. (See medic rules) For Exploding grenades, same rule as "dummy" grenade except, if you are hit with the exploding contents of the grenade, regardless of where you are, you are DEAD. This is important to repeat. With the exploding grenades, even if you don’t get hit with the ordnance, if it lands within the 10' radius, you’re still dead. The advantage of the exploding grenades is that if you do get hit beyond the radius, you’re dead. If you are in a trench, same rules apply except instead of a radius, the kill zone will be 10 feet in each linear direction from where the grenade land. If you are in a building or bunker and the grenade enters, your dead! **Any building that does not have a roof, grenades are only allowed in through windows and entrance ways. Smoke grenades: are just that. You can not die from a smoke grenade. Bazooka, Panzerfaust and Mortar hits: The same radius and trench rules apply as the grenades rules. In regards to buildings/bunkers, two direct hits to the building destroys and kills everyone inside. Hits to sand bags above trenches do not constitute a hit. Land Mines: If you step on one, Boom! You’re dead. If you are within a 5’ radius of someone who stepped on one, you’re dead too! Safety Kills: All engagements within a 25 foot range, a safety kill shall be declared. First combatant to call out safety kill lives. Any disagreements, both combatants are dead. We all know it is sometimes hard to estimate distances in the heat of battle, please use your best discretion as safety should prevail. Safety kills are mandatory in close quarters (buildings, bunkers and trenches) Knife kills: Although rare, knife kills are possible. Only FAKE knife kills will be allowed. You must make contact with your target for the kill. For those of you who bring real knives and/or bayonets, please keep them holstered. Aid Stations:Each team will be given one medical flag to serve as a mobile or HQ re-spawn point. The mobile aide station location should be determined by CO's and be at least 50 yards from the front lines. The HQ aide stations shall also be 50 yards to the rear of each sides primary HQ location. These aid stations can be captured by the opposing team for points. (Point system T.B.D. later) Aid stations that are captured by the opposing team must take the flag to their base to be awarded the points for the capture. After one hour the flag will be returned under a parlay to its original owner and may again return to it's original status. It is obviously important to secure your mobile aide station, if captured, your teams re-spawn point will be 50 yards to the rear of your HQ for the duration of it's capture. Medic Rules:When a player is hit, they are to fall down (acting is encouraged!) and call for a medic and or buddy aide. Any teammate can medic their fallen comrade by holding onto them for five minutes. Contact must be kept for the entire five minutes and once time has elapsed the player is back in the fight. If no medic or buddy comes to your aide, after 5 minutes, you are considered "bled out" and you can leave for either the mobile aide or Battalion Aide Station (B.A.S.) where you must remain there for an additional 5 minutes. After a player has been hit a 2nd time, the player must lay dead in place for 5 minutes before falling back to an aid station or to their main base. Once at the aid station the player must wait five more minutes before returning to combat. When leaving the field as a "dead man walking" no talking to teammates about enemy positions will be allowed. Dead men will grip their weapon by the business end and sling their weapon over their shoulder while holding up their free hand. No dead man shall be fire upon! Additional Medic Rules: Variations of the above rules may apply to each game scenario. We may have a one kill and your out scenario or just one re-spawn scenario. this will all be included in the briefing. Ammo Restrictions:At the beginning of the Operation, both teams must bring all of their ammo and supplies out with them for the day. They are to either carry or leave their supplies at their primary positions for the duration of the battle. Ammo cans may contain bags of BB's, loose BB's and speed loaders. However, soldiers can only go into battle with their loaded magazines on their person. They can not have speed loaders or BB bags with them. They must either keep them in their ammo cans and carry them or leave them at the location of their choice. Team leaders must work with their Squad leaders in order to coordinate rearming and refitting during their assaults/defenses. Only players with 8mm weapons that require "hand feeding" of their ammo may carry loose ammo with them. Support weapons (1919s, mg34s,42s) may be reloaded with the use of ammo cans or with bandoleers of deactivated ammunition/blanks. Each belt or ammo can equals one bag of bbs which can be carried on the attack and these items must be supplied by the soldier. Camping: Camping will be allowed on the Friday ans Saturday nights. Players are encouraged to camp out in WWII period tents. It is also encouraged to have your campsites look as authentic as possible. All modern equipment such as coolers and heaters should stowed away out of sight. Water and Rations: Only period canteens will be allowed on the battlefield. Each side may "hide" additional water supplies at their HQ's. Gatorade buckets, coolers or bottled water must be kept out of sight (either in a structure or tent). Food rations are encourage and can be brought onto the field of play. If they are brought onto the field, they must be kept in a period backpack such as a bread bag or musette bag. Players should make sure they have enough rations and especially water for their time at the event. You can purchase period rations for either side at reprorations.com/index.htm I would purchase at least 2 meals worth. Candy bars will be accepted. Please take your meal trash with you if you are in the field. This was mandatory for all soldiers as they knew if they left their trash behind, they would be giving away their positions. We will follow the same practice. Bring a plastic bag with you and put trash in your musette bag. Video or Still Photographers: We do have a official photographer at the event. This player will be wearing something distinctive so we do not fire on her. But if there is anyone that wishes to spend some time taking either video or stills from the event during the battles may do so and not be fired upon. Just let your CO know and make sure you bring a vest or red hankie to distinguish yourself from active players. If you do take a break and choose to do this, you must discard your weapon and can not be engaged in any combat scenarios. Weather concerns: It is important to be aware of the weather, especially the heat. Anyone that feels the need to tap out and take a break, please do so. Anyone that is feeling light headed, heat exhausted, etc. Please alert the nearest player to you. We will have communications set up between the CO's and Event producer. The event will stop and you will receive the necessary attention.

I'll step up here and expand on the heat/weather situation, as a multiple time heat casualty.
If its anything like it has been, its going to be hot. At any time you feel too hot, or dizzy, or lack of breath or anything out of the ordinary, call yourself out, get behind cover or head back to spawn or parking lot, take off gear and helmet, sit down and start drinking water. This is extremely important. If you push yourself too far, you might end up with a heat stroke and we will have to call the ambulance to get you out and to proper medical care (which would mean stopping the game for awhile).
I will go over this again during the main briefing.
Being a heat casualty of any sort is pretty bad. What's worse, is that after you get one, you will have less tolerance to prevent them, and you will keep on getting them for the rest of your life. And you will become like me who despises the summer and praises the winter with the A/C cranking on full blast.
I might be over worrying, but I'd rather not see this happen to anyone else. It happen to me more times I could count...

Hey, I hate to be rain on the parade, but seeing the weather reports, that might actually happen.
Is there a back up plan or something in case of this? Despite playing in the rain would be super realistic, I don't like the idea of spending the next few months cleaning and drying all my guns and gear in my apartment, or driving up all the way to CT for what might be a waste of time and gas.

Weather.com is calling for AM showers EARLY, then cloudy the rest of the day. Besides some muddy conditions, we should be OK. If by chance the event needs to be postponed, players will be given the option of a refund or rolling over their fee to the replacement date. The field owner is very reasonable to work with, so I have no worries about re-scheduling. If the event does go on and then we get rained out half way through, I'm pretty sure the owner would work with us on a discounted rate for a make-up event. We actually had this happen for my "Operation Overlord" event in 2012. We had some good night fighting on Friday, but Saturday was a wash out. We fought for about an hour during a small break in the weather, but then it was too heavy. The field owner gave us full credit and we were able to have a replacement game. So I can say with confidence that no matter the situation, I'll have a reasonable solution for all. For those who are traveling and are leery about traveling for nothing, I will be heading up to CT from Long Island on Friday afternoon. I plan on walking the field late Friday afternoon and will be staying about 20 minutes away Friday night. If for any reason you need to get a hold of me, my cell number is 516-521-4343
If for any reason I do need to cancel the event, I will be posting such info on this thread asap. I will set a cut-off time for 8:30PM Friday night. If you don't see any message by that time, the event is on. I know this may not be enough time for those traveling great distances, but I promise to do the best I can for all that are attending.
The one thing I ask is to not let the possibility of rain scare you away, if you have doubts, feel free to call me.
This actually may be a blessing, with overcast conditions, less heat, better play.
See you all Saturday,
Migs

That I'll agree with, the temps should be bearable at low to mid 80's (which is much better than the 100+ we've been getting in the DC area....
We've actually planned on leaving late Thursday night, so if you could some how push the cut off sooner, that would be good for us... (D.C. and Baltimore traffic on Thursdays and Fridays are nightmarishly heinous and I'd rather leave after the Thursday rush).
But if not I'll make the call myself then, if I'm not liking it, I'll request a refund. However, if I don't go, Tracy said she will come up on her own.

I will be leaving Friday afternoon and I plan on attending, rain or shine. I can bring a 12'x12' pop up tent that in the case of rain, anything that can't get wet can be placed under it.
