Hi all, I've been an airsofted for a while but I'm just getting into ww2 and I was wondering if HPA is generally accepted at events, provided I make a good effort to hide the tank and hose, or if it's too much. I'd love the reliability, especially during the winter, but I can also see some issues with looks.

How is acceptable an most if not all of the WW2 airsoft events I am aware of with responsible effort to discreetly hide the tank and hoses.

That's awesome, I have an AGM MP-44 and I would much rather HPA it. I think I can probably find a tank that'll fit into a gas mask canister, although I'll have to figure out how to hide the gas line.

In the NE we have guys who do this, and it's all good. We do want the tanks hidden, but they tuck into a gas mask canister or musette bag easily enough. The lines are gonna be there, but we've never seen that as a distraction as long as the canister itself is covered and the rest of the impression is strong.

That's great to hear because in my experience AEGs can be less reliable, especially in winter. I guess then my other question is how common was the zf-4 scope with the stg-44? I personally like to have a little bit of maginification because my glasses always seem to fog up under goggles, but at the same time I feel like it isn't the kind of thing that was common in the field and I would hate to create a "special snowflake" impersonation.
