My teammate and I are interested in attending as French Resistance.
Is it really too late to pre-register via PayPal for discount?
Also, I didn't see any details about night time play. The itinerary says that the game is over at dusk on Saturday. I had assumed that there would be some night time play.
My only WWII rifle is a ZL Mosin Sniper rifle. It has a history of failing on me. I was hoping to borrow a STEN for the impression, but with a high of 28f perhaps there is a spring rifle someone can lend me? This is just in case my Mosin craps out (again). Or maybe an AEG with a LiPo will be fine?
Also, there was mention of bringing a cup to receive chow. Am I correct in interpreting that this means there will be one warm meal provided by the event?
Will there be any TLSFx stick (masher) style grenades available for purchase?

There will be plenty of weapons to borrow in case of weapons going down. Which is likely/bound to happen. Mostly spring rifles, though.
To be honest, I'm only bringing one AEG, and thats my ZB-30.

Will there be any TLSFx stick (masher) style grenades available for purchase? I will try to answer all your questions: 1) Yes, I will honor the pre-pay discount via PayPal. Please do so asap. Payments made on Friday could be problematic for verification by Saturday morning. So try and do this asap. 2) As Dracul said, there will be plenty of guns available for you if your gun craps out. The beauty of being French Resistance is that you can use pretty much any kind of gun. 3) Yes there will be a warm meal provided at the field. More than likely this will occur after the days fighting has ceased. We will set up a campfire and warm chow will be served. A beef stew, with local bread and cheese will be available. Also Hot Chocolate will be served as well. I do recommend that you bring rations to snack on during game play if need be. 4) As for the night fighting, more than likely no. It has been our experience that night fighting can be dangerous. Especially for those that are new to the field. We used to do night missions at our regular field in CT (Ground Zero) and even though most of us fought there over 20 times, we still had mishaps. More things can go wrong than it's worth to try it. 5) Stick Grenades. I do have some grenades, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna sell any. They seem to be hard to get right now, so I may not want to part with any. Check with me at the field and I'll let you know. If I do sell them, they'd be my cost, which was $10.00 per. Hope this all helps. Migs

Great! Thanks!
As far as mashers/sticks, I was ideally hoping to get 4. Is that a realistic possibility?
I'll get my teammate to get on that registration ASAP. As well as for myself.
I've been chatting with Nick D. and be said that he'd be able to kit us out for American side. Which I feel is best since French Resistance seems very out of place for Battle of the Bulge scenario. Though we would be interested in playing resistance in future scenarios that are more appropriate for the roles.

Indeed civilians in the Ardennes were sadly victims rather than participants during the battles there. interestingly their allegiances could potentially lean either way (although most were sympathetic to the Allies). As role players that could be kind of fun.

I will be unable to attend this event, but given the balance of forces that Migs alluded to, perhaps civilians would be best served bolstering Axis forces. Just a thought.
