I stumbled on this last night on YouTube. A Russian TV series called "The Dawns Here are Quiet." The storyline is there's a road junction and small village behind the lines defended by two AA guns. In charge is a sergeant who was badly wounded in the Winter War and isn't fit for frontline service. His gun crews tend to get bored, get drunk and get involved with the local women so he asks his CO for teetotalers who won't fool around. He gets assigned a half-platoon of women AA gunners. It sounds like the set up for a sit-com, and there are some comedic elements, but overall it's fairly serious. Good costuming and sets. Russian with English subtitles.
Well, that got pretty heavy. But then it's Russian. Some pretty good firefight scenes in a northern forest when the sergeant takes out a patrol thinking there's two German saboteurs and it's actually 16. Costuming was interesting. The Germans were parachuted in. They had SS insignia, fallschirmjaeger smocks, the side lacing parachutist boots (looked brand new), but the standard coal scuttle helmet instead of the parachutist helmet.

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.

ajman: I don't think there's gonna be anything in northern New England anytime soon, and as far as I know there hasn't been in a while, but if you're willing to drive to Connecticut there's usually some decent sized battles a couple times a year.
