Hello,
I recently got a Wingun Nagant revolver and am having issues with the BB's staying in the shells.
I even bought a replacement pack of shells and some of the shells just won't hold the BB's in, they keep just falling out after being put in. I am using Bioval .3g biodegradable BB's and was wondering if anyone else was having this issue and if so how did you fix it?
Thanks, Hunter

So random question, I believe WG made two versions of the revolver, one for 6mm plastic bb's and one for .177 bbs, are you sure you got the airsoft one? Are they too small or too big?

They're just barely too small. Some stick in and some fall out. It came with bbs in the shells...

Thinking - are BB randomly stick in (e.g. the same shell - sometimes the bb sticks in and sometime are falling out?)? If the same shells loose the BB every time - the issue is probably within the shell's o-ring. If this happen randomly for the same shell than the issue rests probably with the BB. Did you tried with non-biodegradable BB? Asking because the biodegradable BB are not stable in time - they tend to absorb water from atmosphere and increase the dimensions slightly. So the manufacturer might decide to make them initially smaller so they will stay within limits for longer time. and possibly these limits don;t match the win-gun very well.

Way way way back in the day (1980s) when most all of my airsoft guns were shell ejecting this issue was fairly commonplace and no less annoying. My solution was to coat the BBs in a slight film of petroleum jelly. (Vicks vapor rub). Two things happened. The BBs didn't drop out and velocity shot way up (for about 120 rounds). Then you had to thoroughly clean the barrel.
Let me know how that works for you. And thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Hello I'm new here and have your question just discovered. I also have a WinGun Nagant Revolver [6mm cal. !!!] bought me and I also have the same problem as you describe it. In principle I use only pellets from manufacturers (i.e.: G&G, ICT, ICS, ValkenTactical etc., ) both plastic and also organic. However, I had only been with the "ICS Diamond grind 0.25 g" the success that all inserted BB´s remained even in the sleeves. For all other it was as you have described it - some remained in the sleeves, others fell out. By WinGun I also own the "Webley Mk.VI". Its shells are built differently and have a large plastic attachment on front. All inserted pellets stuck - not a single fell out ever from these shells. Definitely, I would want to argue that the sleeves are the problem and the production of which is not precise enough, above all, because these pods are completely metal and have only in inside a plastic use, which even push out leaves.

So i got another brand of BB's, and they didn't fall out at all. I'll try and look to see what brand it was greenleaf963 but I think some brands of bb's are just slightly too small and fall out and others work well.

It would be nice if you could mention the name of the manufacturer.
But it would interest me, (by the way) even if your revolver got supplied with a guide when purchasing your Nagant? There was no instruction inside the box as I got the gun.
I had to take apart already the revolver to repair him, because I have a non empty shot CO2 capsule left for two weeks in it, but a guide, possibly even with an exploded assembly drawing, would be nice of course anyway.

Yeah mine came with a very detailed assembly sheet in the box when I got it.

@ hunterj:
Thank you for your reply. I find that strange, because I found not only one provider in Germany, who sold the gun together with a guide. I tried to find the homepage of "WinGun" or "GunHeaven" to look a manual also so far in vain. In which country did you buy your Nagant? Where you live (?) or you had to import it from Asia?

Hello hunterj Apologies if it should take slightly longer than with the response from me. I have no Internet connection at home and can therefore only by my work on the Internet.(I spend preferred my money for Airsoft, than for a slow Internet connection) ;-)
Thank you very much for the info.
I have need to determine, since I started about one and a half years ago with this hobby, unfortunately often that there are not all in the same facilities in Germany as in other countries. Thought about this even already often me, prefer to buy some things from abroad. Unfortunately you have but to pay taxes on such imports and that can be pretty expensive.
On the occasion: how much you paid for it? For mine, I paid € 149 including seven shells filled with BBs.
Also, there are significant restrictions on the performance of an Airsoft in German gun laws. Especially if it automatically shoots like for example a MG42.
But at evike I will be ordering something soon.
Most dealers in Germany offer mostly modern Airsoftsmodels, like for example a "M4" or similar, as they sell here better than models from the second world war.
(But I don't like this modern stuff - they all look alike and all work the same way.)
And that's why I find also no dealer in Germany who offers a "WoodKit" for my "Thompson M1A1" by "CYMA" at the time. "Evike" is the only dealer I have found who offers such a "WoodKit". But at the moment you can only preorder there, because it is sold out at the time.

I paid like $60ish because there was a big sale, i'm unsure if it meets all your laws and whatnot. Here it has been allowed on the fields and shoots great.

Is the Wingun Nagant Skirmishable?

I honestly think so. It shoots hard and pretty far. No hop up is a pain but I've got people at 30 or 40 yards.
