All the old ones have been screwed by Photobucket's P500 thing, and I'd like to get a Sten, but not if I can't adjust the hop up.

I wrote the original arg Sten review and upgrade almost 6 years ago. Wow time flies. I just happen to be working on my Sten for MSW 1945 event.
Modifying the hop up is not hard. Just disassemble the hop up unit and you will see the part of the hop up arm that prevents the nub from pressing into the hop up window. You just need to file off a bit of the arm until the nub can put pressure on the membrane. It's pretty obvious. Oh you will need to get/make a nub as they just stuck a little spring in there.
Of course this may be a moot point since they might have corrected this problem since I got my gun. 6 years is a long time to develop a gun.
