I'm trying to figure out how the M1 Garand system by Marushin operates....how it mimics the functions of the real thing.
-What holds the clip in the weapon after you insert it?
-Does the clip eject button on the side of the receiver eject the clip manually if you push it?
-How does the system know to eject the clip on the last shot? --->does it have something to do with the follower on the clip interacting with a part in the rifle?
Any knowledge is appreciated,

There is an extension of the clip latch that holds the clip in the rifle, just like a real Garand. As such, this will also allow you to manually eject a clip by holding the clip latch button. The follower on the clip interacts with the switch in the receiver to lock the bolt back automatically, but without the rifle in front of me I cannot remember how it interacts with the clip latch to eject the clip. I BELIEVE it is the bolt carrier and not the follower that causes ejection but I am not sure.
