So how does this work. You commit for the low price and choose which package you want in order of when they recieve it? All of them look like a good deal and some of them are amazing!

No, you get a random package, so I guess like a raffle where they only sell as many tickets as they have prizes. Significant discount over sticker prices; no control over exactly what you get. Most of the time, these things are largely M4s, so this one is particularly attractive to the WWII community.
I suspect Evike uses these to offload "sludge" (inventory that does not sell well on its own). Throw in a few attractive "jackpot" prizes and/or new guns, make sure every prize is worth at least what people paid, and Boxes of Awesome tend to sell out very quickly.

Brilliant marketing and no doubt a way to get around MAP pricing restrictions. Whoever gets the M1919 w tripod will get a steal. Same with the MG42 package. I am not a gAmbling man but these offerings are all pretty attractive.

I got a BOA a long time ago and got a sweet UMP45 out of it. You typically get what you pay for at least, and with the bonus items, a little more. Its good if you want to build your WWII gun collection a bit.
Though, I am bit intrigued by the package pairings. Pairing US guns with Germans guns and vice-versa. You'd think it would be more enticing if they sold packages based on country a bit more, then again, BOA's sell out extremely fast, so it probably doesn't matter to them.

Alea iacta est.
I see they are sold out this morning, so WWII stuff was apparently no obstacle to sales.
