These guys have really worked hard. Mock tanks, two trench lines, pill boxes, military vehicles, props, tracers for the night game, etc.
Last day to register is this Saturday. It’s a two day event plus a night operation and camping for 40 bucks. Elias has gear and clothing to rent as well.

If you want to borrow M42 or M43 set ups and web gear, I have your size.

If you want to borrow M42 or M43 set ups and web gear, I have your size. Thank you! But we are going armed with Winchester’s. So I think we will just represent French wood cutters for this one! It’s so hard to do it all. But I do want to go support this event. The one nice thing about Cowboy Airsoft is that your rifles are period correct for almost every conceivable conflict short of the war of independence! Combattez les Allemands!!!

Elias does a Herculean job! He has a room in his old diary barn in which he can completely outfit people both Allied and Axis with guns and gear. All you have to do is show up with money.
He is about 1.5 hours north of Spokane by Priest River Idaho. And they are very active running at least one event per month.

Totally unrelated to anything but your mention of using Winchester. I stumbled on a British miniseries called "Wings" about British aviators in 1915. They were flying 2 seater reconnaissance and artillery observation planes with no machineguns, because they hadn't figured out how to mount them yet. The observers were armed with Winchester Model 92's. According to the WWI arms series on C&Rsenal this would be accurate. The British also bought Model 92's to arm their naval boarding parties.
