I'm interested! I expect it will be small because of social distancing but that's ok. Maybe post it on the Facebook page too.

Any idea how many people are coming and what the sides are looking like? I can do Allied or Axis so I'll go on which ever team needs more players.

Just saw this post. I'm sorry I missed this one. Looking forward to the AAR.
I also plan on doing an event in the very near future as things get better.
Hope everyone is safe and well.

Migs, it was a 3v3 small skirmish, numbers would have been nice, but it was still fun!
Summarizing the AAR, the Germans held the town and two American paratroopers linked up with a French Resistance fighter. The town was attacked, but never held consistently by the Allies. In the afternoon, the Axis then tried to advance their perimeter to a nearby hill, but were unsuccessful to capture it. By this point the Germans received a 1 man reinforcement, and the Allies gained a British paratrooper that was dropped drastically off grid, and the Frenchman retreated back to his village. The Allies held the hill after a series of hit and run counterattacks. All in all, it resulted as a draw where the Germans still resided in the town and the Allies constrained German advance holding the high ground.
Looking forward to another hosted WWII game!
