Yes sir, that's right I was with the DOD in Colorado, I'm "semi retired" now and have been in Florida for about 10 years being a Photographer. Mostly trying to avoid the virus these days. I used to run into AllAmerican Dan when I first moved back here. I've decided its time to start selling off the collection and figured no better place then here for a G33.

I as you know have never been a fan of gas guns although the single shot like your Tanaka Kar 98 have a well deserved fabulous reputation. Do you still have the old 6mm Marushin Carbine? That was a great little rifle.

That was a great little rifle. Indeed I do, and that one will never leave my collection, it will probably be the only one I keep. Well, that and the Marushin Garand.

I attended Liberty Canyon (A Vietnam event) up in Vermont last year and there was a fellow playing VC who had a Tanaka gas Karbine. It was the first time I had ever had a chance to handle and fire one. In addition to being a stunningly gorgeous replica it was rock solid and shot spectacularly. The firebase was up on top of a steep rock face in an old quarry with a tower and assorted bunkers. Quite secure in the day time but this fellow managed to creep up to assorted hide positions and was quite effective at taking out random targets in the bunkers and even one fellow in the tower. Very impressive.
