On June 14, 1940, German troops marched into Paris in a dreadful display of the decapitation of France. Millions of Parisians had already fled into the countryside. Many would take up arms and engage their talents to fight back. Vive la résistance!

Hit & Respawn Rules (COVID-19 Version)
Details linked HERE
Player Capture (COVID-19 Version)
During your first 3 minutes of sit time after getting hit, you may be captured and moved by any live players. First, they must throw a 12-foot capture rope at you and order you to tie one end around your torso. Then, your captor may “drag” you anywhere around the airsoft field by maintaining physical contact with the other end of the rope and still being socially distant from you. If directed by your captor, you must move with him/her at a reasonable walking pace. If your captor is hit or loses contact with the other end of the rope, you must restart your wristwatch timer and sit still because, after 3 minutes of continuous broken contact, you will be free from captivity. However, your captor may reset the 3 minutes repeatedly by simply touching the other end of the rope over and over again before your 3 minutes run out. If your captor fails to do this, then you are free to remove the rope from your body and move to respawn without threat of any other player stopping you. As a captured player with the rope on, you may talk to anyone about anything or even yell out for help, but you’re still not allowed to use any weapons. If, after 30 minutes of being captured, you’re starting to get bored, please tell your captors so that they will release you to respawn.
You must have a field-issued 12-foot rope in order to capture players using the above method, and each faction will be given a limited number them.
During this operation, you also have the option of allowing yourself to be captured as a live player taken in at gunpoint which may give you the opportunity to pull out a hidden weapon of your own to use against your captors. But, at any time, your live enemies may shoot you and the proceed to hold you using the rope method described above.
Factions
Your faction will be determined on game day based on how everyone is dressed. If you have a strong preference that you’d like to confirm in advance, please message Omego by 19:00 on the prior day.
French Resistance (Allies) Includes: Allied soldiers & neutral civilians Command post & respawn: Fort Harris Auxiliary self-respawn: Harris Bridge Radio channel: 1 (462.5625 MHz) | Nazi Germany (Axis) Includes: Wehrmacht, SS, & Gestapo Command post & respawn: Wolves’ Den Auxiliary self-respawn: Zombie Stump Radio channel: 2 (462.5875 MHz) |
This is not a strict reenactment which means that some participants will probably show up with modern loadouts and anachronistic gun replicas. If you have a somewhat authentic-looking 1940s French Resistance, Allied, or Axis outfit, please wear it. Players are expected to interact with each other based on how each is dressed in the context of Europe during World War II. For example, German soldiers will probably seek to immediately capture or shoot at you if you’re dressed as an Allied soldier, so you may want to stay hidden from them.
Pretty much all civilian clothing (1940s or modern) is welcome at this event to fill the roles of partisans. As with all airsoft games, please do not wear anything predominantly red or orange. Also, you may be asked to wear some of the loaner shirts, insignia, and helmets that we provide to you for a certain period of time. It is likely that you will also be asked to swap out loaner items and switch sides at some point during the operation because the Allies will start with a disadvantage and then gain the upper hand in numbers as the event progresses.
Radios
If you have a two-way radio, please keep it primarily on your faction’s radio channel. You may monitor the other channel, but do not transmit on it. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field. The Baofeng UV-5R has programming instructions linked here:
Missions
Several missions will be revealed throughout this operation, and not all of them will involve combat. The French Resistance will operate through stealth, deception, sabotage, and guerrilla warfare. Meanwhile, the Germans will operate via inspection and brute force. You may be assigned missions such as establishing an advanced base of operations, overtaking a stronghold, securing means of communication, reconnoitering the enemy, broadcasting propaganda, moving assets, setting traps, identifying/arresting insurgents, recruiting allies, escorting very important persons, or assassinating high-value targets.
Pendulum
In the beginning, the Germans will outnumber the French by two to one. But, this ratio will be reversed as the French complete their missions and acquire more personnel. Please be open to eventually switching sides when asked by Omego.
Swap Meet
Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to buy/sell/trade their airsoft equipment in and around the parking lot and staging area during the morning of this event.
