VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field. The Baofeng UV-5R has programming instructions linked here:
Dress Code
Please wear civilian clothing to this event because the majority of participants will be Partisans. 1940s civilian clothes are best, but modern civi outfits such as hoodies and jeans are acceptable.
However, if your heart's desire is to be on the smaller German faction that is intended to lose in the end, please wear authentic-looking WW2 German clothing or, at least, something that pays homage to it. But, please do not wear any modern camo or military gear. We have several German loaner items such as helmets that you may borrow:
As with all or our airsoft games, please do not wear any shades of red or orange—especially on your head!
Temporary Disarmament
After the opening phase, Partisans will be required to play without their own airsoft guns which must be surrendered to the Armory. Partisans may keep their own boffers if they like, and some field-owned boffers may be found during some of the early missions. Please use only long boffers or throwable boffers in order to maintain social distancing. If the mandatory/temporary relinquishment of your airsoft guns is unacceptable to you, then please do not attend this event.
Springers
During the temporary disarmament period, players may sometimes be allowed to rearm themselves from our large field-owned assortment of springer guns or the players’ own springers that may be reacquired from the Armory after presenting the correct vouchers. Everyone is welcome to bring their own airsoft spring pistols, spring rifles, spring shotguns and spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifles to this event. If a loaner item is issued to you, please keep it with you at all times until you are ready to turn it back in to the Armory. Here are a lot of the springers that we will have available:
Vouchers
The Partisans may sometimes acquire vouchers by eliminating certain Germans and performing other special tasks. You may exchange a voucher for a gun at the Armory while you are hit with a red rag on your head. During the last phase of the game, everyone will get their own more-powerful AEGs and HPA guns back even if they do not yet have a voucher. This will be announced over the field’s public-address system.
Passes
By eliminating certain Germans and performing other special tasks, Partisans may acquire passes that will give them different levels of access into the Wolfsschlucht.
