Hi all, i am from Greece and new to airsoft so please bear with me. I have a gun fitted with a large connector but all my batteries have small connectors. Nobody in Europe can supp[y an adapter or a battery, so is it ok to cut off the large one and replace it with a small one? It is on a King Arms Thompson, my batteries and gun are 8.4 v Thank you for reading this and i would be very grateful for any replies. Regards, Makis

Yes you absolutely can and even with the availabity of adapters it's the way to go. The adapters are easy and convenient but they also take up space (not always in abundance) and they rob power. Obviously take care to insure your positive and negative are aligned.
My son was a huge fan of dens connections and did all of his guns and batteries accordingly. This meant my guns batteries and chargers werent compatible with his which was a hassle. I made all of my guns, batteries and chargers set up with the small tamiya clips which has made my life much easier. There is a cool tool that looks like a metal syringe that made popping out the wires a piece of cake and elinimated the need to cut the wires.
