Hi Guys I'm trying to build up a good collection of stock photos for my use in the magazine and I'm offering you the chance to potentially appear in the WWII section of the mag.
What I'm after is high quality scans of yourself in WWII kit playing airsoft which you're happy to donate.
minimum 5megapixel resolution for half page size pics but the bigger the better.
Things to bear in mind.
1) You're giving me permission to use you pic and its not a paid usage
2) I need you to be wearing eye protection in any pic you send
3) I cant guarantee its use so don't get upset if it never appears
4) As little non airsoft equipment in shot a s possible, no real firearms at all either. If you have deactivated or blank firers I'd rather they were not in shot.
5) You dont need to be 100 per cent stitch not see, i'm more interested in guys having fun playing WWII airsoft than reproductions of wwii photos.
6) Where possible I will credit you for the photo, in rare circumstances this may not be possible (say for example a two page spread featuring pics from eight or more contributers)
Now the big thing to remember is you're GIVING me as an individual permission to use your pic, theres no payment or renumeration whatsoever and you're not dealing with ai-magazine here rather with me as a writer,
What i can promise you is that I will not use your pic for any purpose other than the mag without your consent or use it inappropriately or out of context.
So what do you get out of it:
Potentially an appearance in the worlds best airsoft mag to impress your mates with
What do i get out of it: A better variety of pics than just UK gamers on the field.
This is your chance to show your local site or team off to a global readership.
We can show the rest of the airsoft comunity how vibrant WWII airsoft is.
If you would like to help then please PM me and I will give you a postal address to send CDs of your images to, please DONT message me to have a go if you think I'm exploiting people.
I'm a writer not a photographer and I'd simply like to be able to get a good variety of pics in the mag rather than my own circle of WWII airsofters.
