Figured we could start a thread like this to share Ideas, vendors, sources, rating vendors and things. So with my almost complete '41 Fallschirmjager kit it will be relatively simple to transition to a Normandy impression with just a few Items like helmet etc. so I've been working on a personal items kit, here is mine so far, it is made up of some repro and original items.

Nice stuff gerry, seems like what the typical german would carry. Good choice with using the pipe, lots of germans switched from ciggarettes to pipes as the war progressed. I'll try to post some pics of my stuff later on. I like personal items..

Thx , in our reenactment unit we try to look good in the barracks as well as on the field , so we all try to find as much personal items as we can , and the magazines and toiletries go a long way to make a good barracks impression.
