You're all doing so well I thought I'd pose another series of acromyms and expressions from the allies for you all to define.
A "Stick" A "Dakota" "PLF" A "Honey" or "Stuart" "Achilles" or "Wolverine" A "Beep" A "Handy Talkie" A "ComOP" "Three up and Three Down" "Sky Pilot" A "Thunderbolt" or JUG ETO A "Meat wagon" "Leg" XO Top Dog

Meat wagon, I believe is an ambulence, or just a plain jeep, whatever they can carry injured or dead soldiers on. I might be wrong though.

Nice job one and all. Savoy Six cleared up some misses. A leg (to be more specific) is a pajorative for a "Non airborne qualified" Infantryman. You still need to get the right answer for the Top Dog, Beep, & PLF Those apparently are challenging enough! Let's see some more answers or at least guesses!

PLF-People's Liberation Front?
Top Dog-Either the Highest NCO of a unit, or I dunno.
Just tossing an idea out there.

Top dog (often shortened to "TOP") refers to the First Sgt or highest ranked NCO in a unit. Good job Polak! I still want guesses on BEEP and I am completely amazed no one has gotten PLF as you're going to kick yourself when you figure it out. Savoy Six you gotta know it? Hint a PLF is an airborne term and I explained Beep in one of my other posts.

I heard somewhere that the name jeep wasn't actually the only name for it, and beep was one of the other ones, but I think you already said thats not right. Just my guess.

PLF means parachute landing fall, when the paratroop messes up his landing and fractures-break-sprains or really hurts his lower leg... or so says my friend.

Led zepplin you're a little late with your answers as they've all been given!! Nice effort however. Recce is absolutely correct that the BEEP was the nickname for the Dodge 3/4 ton command car. (I want one!!!!!) a PLF absolutely is a parachute landing fall (The correct contact sequence for a proper landing to reduce the lieklihood for injury)
Thanks everyone for playing.
