I would guess that the first aid belt is for a shipboard corpsman to wear with a sort of bandoleer of bandages. Awesome stuff Deacon. I have a 10th mountain cap and reversible parka that is crying for those goggles.

I have gotten pretty lucky, once a store stops selling them, another one starts.

TL-122-A flashlight for $5. There are only trace amounts of OD paint left in the corners. There is also 3-4 wraps of ancient masking tape near the base. Very good shape late war (1945 dated) aluminum canteen. By AGM. $10 and came with a canteen cover. ///ed///

Found these in the closet, courtesy of my grandfather, who took'em off a Tiger commander somewhere in Normandy.

Got this stuff about two weeks ago but forgot to put 'em up. Pictured are Pair of ammo boots I got for $40(ish) I traded in my (I think they were Norwegian) DMS boots (which I paid 30-40 for) and got Ammo boot with hobnails and heal irons! Also a set of mess tins. They are most definitely post war( I believe they are from Belgian or danish. But they are aluminum rather than the tin (material used to make wartime dated ones) so they are safe to eat from Click The mess tins are danish

Old ammo cans and such. I actually have 3 or 4 more of the large grey ones but I couldn't find them, I think my dad stole them and the lids. Saved them from the dumps. I'm pretty sure I have 10 total and all but one have lids.. I just can't find them right now. No clue exactly what they held, some say .30 cal in cartons, some say 20mm, some say .50 cal linked, most have the flaming bomb painted on them.... they were cool and ww2 looking and free so who really cares what used to be in them. Edit: Found them! browningmgs.com/AmmoCans/T-Chial/AmmoBoxes01_WW2.htm All the way at the bottom.

Trip down to Portland , bought a helmet for $5 at a Goodwill store , no big deal , has a '78 dated ERDL cover , but when i got home and took the cover off to clean it a little ,i found this Yeap , it's an early Front Seam helmet with a Westinghouse liner. Also found 2 books , one is a first edition of Bill Mauldin's Up Front and the other is a book on German Armor. Also found a few Vietnam era items.
