Well, I am going to venture that it is either a South African pattern or that funky WW2 Russian camo. I am leaning towards it being SA. I dont know either designation.

Just got two musette bags for $16 shipped. The guy sold them to me from airsoftforum and called them dump bags.
Ill get pics later but so far one looks (44-45?) transitional and is missing one side of the carry strap and the other is a M36 printed: St. Croix Garmet CO 1942 and is in good shape minus a small hole in the bottom and a little fraying on the side pockets top edge.

Wow, what a steal. Nice find. I just got a K-Ration Box (Dinner Unit) and customized Tags (March 1944 information).

Burke that was such a steal. Medic is the K-ration box original? Now for my finds. A haversack packtail carrier dated 1944. It still has a good khaki color, the dates are visible, and it has a minty leather strap but both of the canvas traps were torn off making it useless. I didn't know this when I bought it. It was $15. Next, I just purchased a 1918 dated packtail carrier for $10 which is coming in the mail. And last of all I got two repro jeep caps for $12.50 which are also coming in the mail.

No it is not original. found out a few hours ago that I could have bought one for $11 cheaper. I wasted $11.00 on ham and lemon juice powder.

That's very cool man , the top one is a SHIN-GUNTO or army officers swords, and they where the most common style of sword mountings in World War II , if you can get a pic of the tang i can find the maker for you and tell you if it was made in the traditional way or by machine stamping. They are also called Katana by the way. The smaller one is called a Wakizashi . The two swords go together as a set , called a Daisho, meaning "large and small." The word Dai (large) represents the Katana and the word Sho (small) represents the Wakizashi.

uuummm what the hell are you talking about?? these are original along with pictures of him being handed these!
I'll try to get the pic of the general. tommorow if i'm not tired after an airsoft game i'll post close ups. The story behind these is very interesting too.
also does anyone know of a website that can tell in depth what unit my Grandpa was in? he was in a Chinese unit in the PTO.

Shouldn't you be telling me to add a side car and mount an MG42?

You could always add it to the yellow car in the backround

Shouldn't you be telling me to add a side car and mount an MG42? I was thinking low-effort, but hey! Way to raise the bar! Keep us updated!

2003 Chevy Suburban , it used to be a Police vehicle , it has the Police package engine , transmission and suspension , they removed the Lights , siren and radio , but the radio antenna is still on the roof , sucker is fast has a huge V8 engine and it's supercharged. This is where they removed the flashers Antenna
