The 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division, 1st Parachute Rifle Regiment, 8th air company is looking to scrimmage sometime in September. If anyone here on the forums is interested in throwing a game we are willing to travel within reason in and around NY.
FYI, we are also able to host games and have done so in the past. We have a decent sponsoring group and are able to have larger games catered by a German BBQ. “REAL GERMAN FOOD FOLKS!”
There are many fields available to us both in upstate NY in and around Albany and Western NY, around the Buffalo area.
Also, we will hopefully get to meet some of you at WWII events come next year or as soon as there is a scenario posted that we can make.

I’m sorry fallout, we are not interested in this event. We are looking for a little more realism- in that we do not wish to compete against modern day weapons in a WWII operation. After all; we already have a modern German Airborne team with the appropriate gear, uniforms and tactics.
Thank you for the invite! Also, please do invite us again. If the OP is total WW2- we will be interested!

Weapons use is restricted to simulate WW2 era and it works fairly well. Yes you can use any weapon but that is fairly common in any event we have seen so far. There are alot more people with M4's and Ak's. We decided to restrict the use of weapons to simulate the weapons as best we could. www.worldwar2airsoft.com/rules.htmThe Uniform regulations are alot more lienent and that may turn you off. We understand some guys want 100% accurate and there is certainly enough room for everyone's want and needs on that front. The above event is not sponsored or approved by WW2AA they are a seperate group. More strict on loadouts and weapons. Perhaps they will run a big event and that would be more suitable to you. Gordak is over in Conneticut and I am sure he will will probally run something at Tolland and that should draw a big crowd for you guys up in the NE.

Yes, I am very familiar with NEASG. I am even a member on the forums there. However, when it comes to Airsofting in Upstate, Central, and Western New York; I recommend playing with the WNYAL- which is by far the largest organized group in New York with at least 260 active players.
You are quite correct. We are looking for about 90% total realism. We mainly care about weaponry, uniforms and somewhat accurate tactical gear.
